    "It was the briefest of stopovers, and more than adequate for the purpose." (108478240)

    Despite very late arrival, check-in was very efficient and friendly. Room was spotless.

    We were allocated a room which looked out onto the noisy air conditioning plant of the adjacent motorway services building - but our request for a quieter room was met immediately and efficiently.

    Good value continental breakfast. Dogs welcome.

    Condition of carpet, many stains - this was reported. Parking - not easy to park close to hotel, especially difficult on a very snowy evening.

    able to park close to hotel. all services available.staff friendly and helpful.

    food area tables/chairs filthy...excellent quality of food for fried breakfast but almost cold!

    very clean, staff friendly, dogs had a good time and staff very dog friendly and welcoming

    white bedding in a dog friendly hotel, luckely took covers to keep bedding as clean as possible

    bath area was a little grubby with mildew, and kettle lead was a bit dodgy - had to wiggle to get kettle to boil

    "I use this hotel as a stopover point on my 2-3 monthly visits to Glasgow. Essentially all I want is a bed for the night. The location is convenient about 1 hour from Glasgow and on the M74. Thehotel adeqautely serves my purpose. The staff are always friendly efficient and helpful I have stayed here 5 or 6 times this year and will continue to use the hotel in future.     Low price. Convenient for my client's location the next day.

    Purely a bed for the night at thye side of a motorway - no frills at all. Apparently the hotel was nowhere near full, but I was told "no chance of an upgrade when you only paid £39".

    We stayed in 'dog friendly room' with our chocolate labrador 'Joe'. He enjoyed the room. We found the room extremely comfortable and suited our purposes for a break in our journey.

    Perhaps a small fridge or perhaps a 'communal fridge' at reception could be provided.

    "Very good stop over for a night on our way up to Inverness. The Hotel was good, but the service in the food area next door was poor. Youngsters serving food, etc, who obviously don't really care if the food is cold, not good, and you are kept waiting. " (108202231)

    "It was a very enjoyable experience.We never have had the need to stay overnight before and we were on route to a funeral in Glasgow. The two rooms side by side were unexpected and your staff were very thoughtful to arrange it. My mother and my husband are both disabled and the restaurant was not far for them to walk.It is in a lovely part of Scotland and we would not hesitate to use this hotel again." (108537758)

    convenient to not have to leave the mototway in a strange area to find a hotel also restaurant on the doorstep

    I did actually book one double and one single room because that is what came up on the internet. However on arrival I was given a family room we were two adults and my 89 year old mother.Had I known you had family rooms I probably would have only booked the one room. Because you were going to charge me for the two rooms I was given two family rooms side by side and given two keys for my mothers room so that I could enter when I needed to.

    I booked hotel in advance so that I could have a down stairs room. When we arrive they made us wait with out acknowledgment. When they told me they didn’t have a family room booked for me because I had booked a single room as well we ended up up stairs with no apology. Nobody would book a family room if they dont want one?

    Friendly and polite staff. Rooms are nice and quiet despite being near to motorway.

    Despite the rooms being tidy and clean the equipment in the room has seen better days although it is still functional.
