    Very friendly and helpful staff, good facilities and clean and well maintained room.

    No real bad points, but a bit noisy at night outside window.

    nOT VERY CLEAR WHAT TO DO ON ARRIVAL AT BREAKFAST. WE WNET TO SIT DOWN AT AN EMPTY TABLE BUT GOT TOLD WE HAD WE COULDNT AS PEOPLE WERE WAITING.It would have been better having somone on the door to show you to a table.

    Receptionist was very helpful and good at her job as she was also bar person and helped in the breakfast room and also helped us to get a table in Da Sandros on the friday evening as we arrived late due to traffic problems.

    If the road was fully open we would have been unable to open the room windows as the noise would be terrible and it was a hot weekend. Secondly the curtains need to be blackout curtains as they are far too light. Breakfast on the Saturday morning was manic and even though we got there for 9am there were no free tables and the hot food was running out by the time we were ready for it!

    the only thing was the radiator in our room could not be turned down, with the result the room was too hot.

    Staff very helpful and friendly.

    You used the guest name as the main booking name and not the name of the person who booked the room, causing considerable confusion on arrival.

    "The hotel was ideally suited for me as a solo business traveller. Whilst the room decor was clearly not luxurious; it was modern and perfectly presentable. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. Even though I was on the ground floor facing the road, the noise was minimal and certainly didn't disturb. For one or two nights, and for the price, the hotel was very good. It's about a 5 minute drive down to Huddersfield centre; though would be too far to walk." (107363751)

    Clean hotel with more modern style room and reasonably good facilities. Good value for the price. Friendly helpful staff. Good location just off motorway and about 5 minutes drive to Huddersfield centre.

    We were attending a graduation ceremony and requested an early check in. All went well, with no problems at all. The Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel was good value, but noisy. Like us, many others were there celebrating!!

    "We were welcomed by friendly staff who took an interest in the reason for our stay. They helped us to find the address we were looking for. On our departure a member of staff brought water for us to top up our radiator. We really appreciated the way the staff were approachable and helpful. It made us want to visit again." (97244004)

    The hotel was clean and tidy and the room well equiped. The breakfast included in the great price was fantastic and included hot and cold fresh food.

    The television in our room had some colour problems.

    "The hotel is in a great location, not far from the motorway therefore easy and quick to find, yet only a few miles from the Town centre, around £6 in a taxi and a lot quieter than in the town. More pleasant than chain hotels than many chain hotels I have stayed in, yet a reasonable price." (97788951)

    Location, between M62 and Town centre, quiet at night, easy to find. Value for money.

    pleasing bright furnishings...TWO pillows each...wonderful.

    a flannel in bathroom would have been nice. Unfortunately, the waste under sink was leaking, pool of water on floor, no maintenance as it was New Year. However, we collected water in waste basket..no problem. [staff did offer room change]
