    room was chilly, lights in bathroom needed replacing, dated tv with with shabby remote

    excellent experience.

    Although we were not part of a tour group I felt that entertainment could have been provided.We were staying on the 4th floor and the lift only carried a max of 3 people despite the notice.

    The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice

    Mure than 2 in lift it didn't work Room poor and bed very uncomfortable. Bar serbvice extremely poor,at times staff sat with their backs to the customer talking and ignored the customers. Standard off dress was poor.Floors needed cleaning, lots of food under the tables. Queues at the checkout were far too long due to insufficient staff. Staff seemed to have very little knowledge of the local area and there were no brochures advertising what was on.

    good location , good food,

    hard to find , we booked family room only to travel up 5hrs from devon to be given double room which we were not happy with after all we had payed for family room it was 2 adults and a child of 14 so we neede a family room which we did not get we had to have a folding bed put in which gave us even less space in the room . not happy with this and would like to put in a formal complaint regarding this? how do i go about this?

    Whilst check-in is advertised at 2pm we were unable to gain access to either of our rooms until at least 4pm. Having travelled for 4 hours, with four children, this was most frustrating.

    the staff were friendly, ad efficant

    the room was in the basement which had no window and smelt of damp, i requested a move but was informed they were fully booked. the room was really bad damp, mildew and chlostrophobic. i am now home sick with flu which im sure was caused sleeping in that enviroment!

    having asked to move rooms, eventually did receive a better room!

    for the money paid was not happy at all, the 1st room we were put in was tiny, dark, and stunk of smoke. usually stay in priemer inns for a lot cheaper and extremly better value for money.

    we had a roof over our heads !!!

    phoned hotel on day of booking to find hotel overbooked...!!!! friends had flown from belfast.... prince of wales found us another hotel around the corner which was not of the standard we would choose !!!! but we had no choice !!!

    SOME OF THE, SHALL WE SAY OUT OF REACH AREAS OF THE HOTEL COULD DO WITH A FACE LIFT,A LITTLE TACKY ROUND THE EDGES. BUT PLEASE DONT TAKE AWAY THAT VICTORIAN SPLEDER AND CHARM LIKE THE OLD BALLROOM WONDERFULL.

    "I was disappointed that there wasn't any entertainment provided by the hotel or leisure facilities. I think if your not going to provide evening entertainment then you should provide satellite tv as advertised at the time of booking and a dvd player. It would of been nice to of been able to book a hairdresser/ beautician or take a swim or something. Due to the mormal prices the hotel would charge I would of expected some of these amenities. Also a porter service would be good as I am disabled I really struggled to get my luggage up to my room. I also don't think that residents should have to pay for parking." (107691324)

    I liked the fact that breakfast was served until ten/half past as after all you are taking a break and don't want to get up too early, this is quite unusual for hotels. I also liked the complementary shampoos etc and the fact that tea bags were replenished daily. Staff were quite nice room was clean, it was good that there waS a trouser press, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities and was spacioud enough. Also good that there was enough hangers for our clothes.

    Excellent Breakfast. I am not usually pleased with hotel breakfasts but this was superb

    A sticky liquid was spilt in the lift, It took two days after I made it known to staff to clear up. PS I did not spill the liquid but found it so it may have been reprted before me

    the breakfast was very good, the bed was comfy, hotel value for money

    staff on reception not very helpful, had to pay for carpark, key wouldnt work when we finally got there, the shower head came off the shower, the taps were broken, the window was frosted and the only little view we had was a brick wall,

    staff were terrible and very un helpful. i booked 2 rooms which stated on the internet that they were £39 each i was charged £49 for one and the girl on reception said she couldnt do anything, i rang before i booked to ask if a double room was a double bed she said yes so i booked it, when we arrived the room had 2 single beds pushed together, also the reception said i had booked 3 rooms which was not the case they have said i will not be charged for the 3 rooms and i hope not for there sake. plus to top it all of the cleaner walked in our room at 9.45am with out knocking. the whole stay was awful and i wilol be forwarding my invoice to the hotel to get my £10 back what they overcharged me, the reception staff were useless and i would never even stay there again let alone recommend it to anyone.

    after reading alot of negative feedback on the internet i was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, i didnt notice dust etc, the room as large and clean, no problems with bedding etc....maybe i wouldnt have been as happy if i had paid the full room rate, but certainly no complaints

    Having ordered room service it seemed to take forever to get it delivered to the room and some simple/basic items were not available (ie; prawns, roast beeef for sandwiches)
