    The hotel and grounds were aesthetically delightful, the service was good.

    The food was very disappointing and the prices were exorbitant for what we received £15 for an inedible breakfast! The hotel is better suited for dinner parties and older clientele.

    Stayed on Sunday, bar was closed 10:00pm no aparent alternative to pricey full english breakfast

    the room was very well presented and the feel of the hotel was very nice.

    the only complaint I have is that the bed was too soft and the room was over the kitchen area I think which made it very noisy in the evening. But it did stop late at night.

    "Generally this is a lovely hotel. The grounds and the decor of the hotel are excellent. However given the limited opening hours of the front desk (closes at 10pm)and the variable size of rooms and lack of baths, would point to this being more a B&B with an excellent restaurant rather than a full fledged hotel suited to business travellers who expect to be able to check-in and/or arrive late. The bar often closes at 10pm. The occasional parties mid-week can be very disruptive to guests." (99340342)

    The rooms are nice and individual and not a standard box. The beds are extremely comfortable.

    The room sizes were very variable in size, with only a few rooms having a bath. In one of the rooms, July, the shower room is tiny.

    Our room was extremely comfortable , very well co-ordinated and the Bathroom was immaculate with nice fluffy towels and Molton Brown toiletries.The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in !

    "The hotel grounds are in beautifull settings despite being very close to a major city and,to match this, the accommodation and decor was of a very high standard and level of comfort. The bed has to be the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time and I'd gladly swap it for my own! The staff were also very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only downside, if you could call it that, was that the restaurant prices were on the high side although the quality of food presented was excellent if not the largest protion size. Having said that I would gladly eat there again. All in all, this is definitely the place to go if you want to escape from the world for a while and enjoy some comfort and a bit of luxury . I will certaily be booking another room if I need to stay in the area again." (99385393)

    The room was beautifully decorated in a manner that gave a feel of luxury to the accommodation and the bathroom suite was very modern and also gave the feeling that this was not your run of the mill hotel. The bed was also very comfortable and again showed that some care had gone into the choice of furniture.

    Hotel is close to EAC. Advantage of hotel is the Village area it is situated in (and not a crowded city).

    Hotel staff were excellent and was never left wanting for anything. Quality food.

    The room wasnt up to standard of the rest of the hotel. Whoever had cleaned the room before my arrival had left ladders and dirty cloths in the room. The windows didnt close properly and I could never get the room up to temperature as the central heating was intermittant.

    Homely, friendly

    Had difficulty with TV, couldn't get the DVD to work, TV was fuzzy. There was no information about the hotel in the room, i.e. no menus if room service was required, no info about telephone etc.

    "The hotel is not meant for business travelers. Items that I have come to expect were not available, like hair dryer or iron. However I did not ask the front desk for one so they may have been available upon request. There were no leaflets or information on the hotel amenities in the room. No documented way to contact the front desk. Having said this, I would consider this hotel for a weekend stay for leisure and request the larger suite that I know exists. The location is quiet and lovely to relax in. The restaurant has a wonderful menu and the staff is very friendly and accommodating." (1977934)

    Decor was nicely done. The bed was very comfortable and well dressed. Restaurant was wonderful.

    Room was extremely small for a business traveler. Not enough working space, small desk. Noisy, could hear people walking around and kitchen staff cleaning up.
