    Good sized room, excellent leisure facilities. Friendly staff.

    Hair-dryer not working in room, took 3 calls to reception over 45 minutes to eventually be told there were no hair-dryers available to bring to room -as all attached to wall- which reception must have already known when I first phoned down. Provided with key to room next door and used that hair-dryer and own room dryer was replaced the next day. Would suggest you have some spare hair-dryers available - if hotel fully booked then would not have the option of using another room. Your bar prices are very expensive - large glass of wine and a vodka and tonic £12.50. I expect to pay above average prices in hotels but I do think this is excessive.

    the room was a good size and lovely decorated. the staff were very nice

    we ordered cakes with our coffee when i complained about one of the cakes the person whe served us went to get me another one and never came back i was later informed that he was one of the managers.pots of tea on the table at breakfast.

    Friendly helpful staff. Clean room with comfortable bed and fresh decor. Easy access from main road network. Good breakfast cooked to order, and the dinner was also tasty.

    Though the meal was good the description of the dishes was inaccurate, (probably due to availability) and we were not informed at the time of ordering. eg wild mushrooms replaced with roast root vegetables and sorbet replaced with ice cream. However the meal WAS tasty.

    generally a good experiance

    heating in the room was very poor - fortunatley I prefer a cool room but even for me it was to cold and took untill the following morning to be acceptable.I would also expect FOC wireless Broadband

    "This hotel is very well located for sight seeing in Scotland with Edinburgh, Glasgow and Sterling all being within a 30 minutes drive. The health club and pool are excellent and the staff generally are extremely friendly and most accommodating." (97515966)

    This was an excellent room with all the facilities we needed, the leisure facilities are more than adequate and suitable for families

    Good location for my purposes. The haddock and poached egg for breakfast was excellent.

    "Food Quality and price - Dinner, ordered two Filet Steaks to be cooked Medium/Well and Medium/Rare - Both came after long wait and very well done - had to send them back.     It was clean and comfortable.

    The corridor I stayed on was rather noisey during the early hours - guests making way to their rooms from the bar and banging doors.

    Service and efficiency of front desk staff.

    I ordered toast and coffee for breakfast, and waited over 15 minutes while people at other tables got their orders ahead of me. I had to leave for an appointment, and never got my coffee or toast.
