    All staff were absolutely charming and very helpful. This included those on Reception and all waiting staff. Breakfast was delicious as was room service. Room and hotel were clean.

    Felt hotel was overpriced, not sure I would agree with the four star rating. We had two single beds pushed together, the power switch fell off when we tried to activate it, the safe wouldn't work, the porch door wouldn't lock and we had no drinking water in the room. Also think it should have been clearer before hand that young children could not use the pool, as this would have affected our choice.

    very clean, excellent staff. Well maintained, good location.

    not enough notification when the bar/restaurant facilities were being used for a function/wedding etc. The same morning is not good enough. Should be told either at check-in or by email prior to check-in, so plans can be scheduled.

    As there was a wedding on that weekend the dining room was closed & we had to eat in a very small room which wasnt very nice, as our meal was expensive thought some disc would have been on offer due to situation

    "Nice hotel that should tell guests a wedding is on when they book or not have other guests staying other than the wedding party. On booking in first thing said to us was we would not be disturbed by the wedding, this seemed to be the standard greeting, a worry. Drunken wedding guests by room patio windows" (108059529)

    Wedding on same night - very very noisy - feeling of not being wanted - no car parking due to wedding guests

    "i would have liked to have known that there was a function all ready booked at the hotel as this made us feel a bit out of place but other than that, it was a great stay." (97936787)

    it was very clean and the receptionist was very friendly!

    lack of parking spaces, granted there was a wedding on but i still had to park in the rugby pitch.

    "The meals were very good, but extremely expensive. The grounds were a disappointment, I think there were five lamposts in the central garden, four leaning at an angle and one on the ground. Although we enjoyed our stay, I would not return, it was extremely expensive for what was, in reality, a sub standard hotel." (97567965)

    The staff were great & very healpfull

    We complained about spot bulbs hanging on wires from the ceiling, we were told someone would come to fix it, no one came.

    "A nice hotel in a quiet location. Quality fittings and feel. Very friendly and helpful staff and management. A pleasant pool, jacuzzi, sauna complex and a small gym. A good breakfast ( but would have liked Earl Grey tea - not available!). We very much enjoyed our stay. On the downside the bar is very poorly stocked - only slimline tonic and only diet pepsi - no good for me since I have an allergy to the sweetener in diet drinks. Poor range of bottled beers and spirits also. Not what you expect from a low grade pub never mind a hotel of this standard. On the one night we ate in the food was of a poor standard and only table d'hote was on offer - the a la carte had been withdrawn. We ate out the second night! However, other guests had found the food OK previously - so I would give them a second chance." (99610902)

    A good sized room, nicely furnished, with a balcony/terrace to sit out and views of a pleasant garden

    The minibar had a strange range on offer - only alcopops(vodka/lemon), wine, coke, budweiser. A more normal contents would have been appreciated

    Quick check-in and check-out. Your room-card can be used to open main door when its closed after 10pm. SPA services available. Helpfull staff.

    "As we were staying for 3 nights, the hotel provided a comfortable base to see Tenby and the surrounding area. You could come and go as you pleased.The fact that the swimming pool / sauna/gym only opened at 8am was a dissappointment as we needed to be having breakfast then to make the most of our days,consequnently we could only use the pool once."     "I did not accurately find out the location of the hotel; the walk to the town/beach was down then up a hill (about half an hour), however, this did not present a problem to us. I was not aware that there are 2 standards of rooms; I would have paid the extra cost for the more modern bedroom if I had known." (3304935124)

    On the whole staff were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and efficiently served.

    The bedroom was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The shower left a lot to be desired. It was electric with a poor water flow, which did not allow you to cool the water temperature.

    "Wouldn't really say this was a 4* hotel, more like a 3* - rather dated, needs modernising, but the pool was a bonus. Very friendly & helpful staff.     We liked the spa/health centre - main reason for booking.

    Didn't like the decor of the hotel...too many clashing wallpapers, some rooms had 4 different varieties in them!

    "This hotel is starting to show its age with a general feel that most of the facilities in the rooms are well past their best. I dont think it is too much to ask that the bed in a hotel room is comfitable and doesnt wake you everytime you roll over in your sleep, Or that the shower has a resonable amount of pressure and take what seems like an age to warm up. This aside the staff were very pleasent and the breakfast was of exelent quality. This hotel is also further away from tne town than it advertises." (3304994121)

    The room was small, The shower had very little pressure, The tv only had 4 channells 1 of wich was s4c wales and the bed made a great deal of noise with the slightest movement. The staff were friendly and helpfull and the food was of a high quality.

    "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which is entirely due to the hotel facilities. We were a little concerned on our arrival to see that there was a wedding in full flow. This initially caused a small parking problem but soon settled down. The wedding did not interfer with our facilities and no disco noise etc was evident during the evening. There were no dinner facilities on the first evening, presumably because of the wedding (perhaps we should have been told of this on booking). However there were plenty of good restaurants, bistros etc in Tenby. The overall cuisine including breakfast and dinner was excellent. All the staff were obliging, courteous, friendly an smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. The leisure centre was again first class." (3304409381)

    A very good, comfortable and clean hotel with first class attention from the staff. Excellent food.

    In respect of our visit - nothing. Everything was first class. There was a minor problem with the bathroom lock knob falling off but that was rectified as soon as we reported it.

    it was very tidy, good facilities, friendly staff

    not impressed with having to book the evening meal, I would have expected to be able to just turn up and be served.
