    Bonne situation

    Accès à la chambre malcommode (4e étage par escalier étroit depuis le 3e étage) Equipements bruyants dans la chambre : pompe (booster) de douche, ventilation des toilettes, serrure de porte qui claque, etc. Petit déjeuner servi de 8:00 à 10:00 heures seulement. English breakfast plutôt court (1 oeuf frit, 1 saucisse, 1 tranche de bacon, 1 petite tomate en deux moitiés, quelques champignons tranchés, 3 toasts triangulaires -soit 1 tranche et 1/2, 1 beurre, 1 margarine, 1 confiture d'abricot, 1 miel en doses individuelles petit format)

    Excellent location; polite, friendly staff; good breakfast; lovely clean bed linen, more than adequate tea-coffee making facilities.

    Bathroom provisions could be better; extra soap and a towel and a bigger bottle of shampoo/bath gel would be much appreciated. Generous supply of toilet tissue which is good.

    VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF GOOD LOCATION CLOSE TO BAKER STREET STATION

    THIN WALLS TO BEDROOM. I WAS NEXT TO A FAMILY ROOM WHICH WAS NOISEY IN THE EARLY MORNING DINING ROOM RATHER CRAMPED FOR BREAKFAST.

    Courteous as ever. Room clean and everything working Free wifi is good

    Breakfast is not good and other people have mentioned this to me too so its not just my view - should be more generous and better quality - very small cost to do but would make a big difference to customer experience. Why not have some fresh fruit out that people can take away. Charging 50p extra for another rsausage or egg seems a bit petty really when most guests are paying

    "I've stayed at far better London hotels for this price. Overall state of repair and quality of repair jobs very poor (like a ham-fisted odd-job man). The most expensive room on the top floor was difficult to get to (not suitable for elderly or infirm). Saved only by reasonably friendly staff, half-decent breakfast and air-con in bedroom that actually worked. Needs a thorough refurbishment and basic repairs. On the plus side, good location and large selection of restaurants in the vicinity. " (108080322)

    Good location, large bed, clean linen, friendly staff, air-con, breakfast OK

    Poor state of repair, cracked sink, shower head dangling loose/wrong angle, shelf hanging off wall, one DG window pane at side of bed instead of being in the window itself. Difficult to get to 4th floor bedrooms (small lift to 3rd floor then 2 narrow and twisty flights of stairs). Had to fix loose hinge on toilet before we could use it.

    no hot water in the bathroom... 3rd floor ... no feedback after booking problem with my visa card, I was lucky there was a room available but this could have become a real mess...

    Staff were very helpful indeed and the general cleanliness of the hotel and service were very good. The location was also excellent.

    My room was rather small, though adequate. I generally felt that some areas of the hotel would benifit from redecoration.

    "Excellent location in Central London, yet it is a quiet location close to Marylebone High St with plenty of local shops/facilities. Staff are customer focused and are attentive and proactive in the right way - A rare quality amongst hotel staff anywhere. Having Freeview Digital TV/widescreen was an unexpected plus, as most hotels still have not bothered to upgrade their cable TV facility. I could review text information services and catch a BBC4 programme I would normally have missed." (97775379)

    The facilities were in good repair Digital TV was installed (Freeview) Excellent standard of TV screen. At last! a room with a decent BATH! Rooms were clean, space was adequate.

    Cosiness and calm.

    Very noisy extractor, hot water is in fact lukewarm, narrow access to bed between two unnecessary bulky pieces of furniture, lack of ventilation when window is closed, very tiny bathroom especially not enough room between toilets seat and sink. Could be hazardous even ;-)

    "This hotel was very clean and quiet and in a very good location. The staff were very helpful. The breafast, which were included in the price of the room, were very good and the servers were excellent. They also had Wi-fi available, which made it possible to stay in touch with my family in the U.S. It was very apparent that this is a family owed business and they were very concerned about our welfare."     Not Much

    4th floor - Poor lift to 3rd floor - fire exit was not well marked and exits were several floors below. Shower had such a poor flow it was impossible to use Breakfast was very greasy

    As a single person I had a small room - perfectly adequate and very glad to have air conditioning.Would not have been comfortable for two guests. Good position for shops and restaurant and all staff very obliging.

    "When booking the hotel, I spoke to the manager, Hal, becuase I am asthmatic and allergic to feathers. He was extremely helpful and even changed the room booking to a room that was larger and airier. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonable hotel in the area and prefers something other than your typical branded hotel." (99240465)

    "Very good location and helpful staff. We had to change room as the room allocated on arrival was not as booked (twin instead of king size double), but this was handled quickly and helpfully and we were given a bottle of wine to compensate for the mistake, which was more than I would expect. Breakfast (full English included in room rate) was really nice and freshly cooked. I would definitely return." (99095009)

    It's proximity to The London Clinic.

    I stayed in a Basic Single. The bathroom - limobing under the wash basin to sit on the loo whilst banging your knee on the basin piping was difficult. Apart from that the room was adequate for 1 night.

    "All the staff I dealt with were polite and heplful. However the room was much smaller than I had been led to believe, the carpet was in need of hoovering, the bathroom courtesy tray had empty boxes which led me to beleive that it needed restocking and the bath shower fitting snib would not retract so that I was forced to shower rather than bathe. Breakfast was adequate. In response to my request that the hotel store my case and handbag so that the room could be made ready for the next guest, I found both case and bag in the hallway where anyone off the street had easy access to both. In all, this was sadly not a happy experience." (99169338)

    "I was led to be leave by the hotel details that there was a gym, Sauna & other leisure activities, this is very important to me as i travel so much. As it turned these facilities where off sight which maybe ok in the summer but not at this time of the year. One of the main reasons for booking this hotel was the prospective of having somewhere to wind down after very long business days." (99876799)

    "Convenient, comfortable hotel with lovely staff. I live in the country and am not used to traffic noise - on arrival I had been given a room overloking the road (not a main road) and asked if I could have a room at the back. The receptionist was most helpful and moved me to a lovely room away from the road. Bar area very pleasant. Light meals available all day - wished I'd known that before buying a sandwich at the station! Cooked breakfast very good and served at the table (not buffet) by very attentive waitress."     Polite helpful staff. Despite a problem with towels not being left in the room and then the door lock being faulty they were very helpful and apologetic sorting things out straight away-all in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and the location is excellent.

    The roomes were very well presented and extremely comfortable - one of the few hotels in London where I seem to get a good nights sleep
