    Short walking distance from Baker Street Tube station, nice and comfortable room, friendly personnel, good traditional English breakfast

    Short breakfast time (from 7 to 9); the breakfast room closes at 9 sharp. An extension of the breakfast time (let's say half an hour) would be advisable

    Tidy, quiet, modern and clean. Satisfying breakfast.

    The sliding bathroom door didn't really fit the hole, but that was ok. Also the personal fire exit in the room was a bit creepy - but guessing not all rooms have that!

    "The room was much too small and tatty to spend 5 nights in it comfortably - and it was overpriced at a standard price of £135 per night (although I paid less than this by booking through your website). The lack of facilities at the hotel (eg living room, bar) was also a concern, but would have been surmountable if the standard of the accommodation had been better." (107356085)

    The single bedroom accommodation was frankly substandard, not matching the published double room accommodation in the hotel's literature or website. Firstly I was placed in a room opposite the lift shaft, which I complained about as I am a light sleeper; I was surprised to be given this room in light of the fact that the hotel had received my reservation nearly 3 months before my stay. The second room they moved me to was also extremely small, tatty and looked out on to a wall and the fire escape. I was intending to spend 5 nights at the hotel but checked out after only one night.

    "I think that the very good eateries and convenience shopping within walking distance should have been highlighted in a separate sheet of information for guest. This should include the very close proximity of the tour buses close by." (107515570)

    Clean and good quality furnishings and bathroom. Good TV,and very helpful, friendly staff. The breakfast was done well and was also plentiful. Quiet street for a peaceful nights rest, but close to loads of transport and shops. Great location.

    Excellent accueil,bagages gardés à l'hôtel le dernier jour,taxi commandé par la réception ,amabilité permanente et un ménage fait à la perfection,petit déjeuner copieux

    Belle chambre avec lit deux places ,mais donnant par une porte coupe feu sur l'extérieur avec escalier de secours au 3 eme étage, un peu stressant et refroidissant la pièce(mais un chauffage électrique était mis),tv à l'ancienne image floue

    Neues geräumiges Bad, hervorragende Matratze! Sehr nettes Personal und sehr sauber. Trotz Renovierarbeiten (neuer Teppich) hat man als Gast davon nichts mitbekommen. 2 Gehminuten zur U-Bahn-Station Baker Street. Genial gelegen

    Friendly, helpful, good value for money, rooms had everything one needs as a female business traveller. Good location.

    Excellent location of the hotel, cleanliness of the room, very good beds, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast, extremely polite and helpful staff.

    "I stayed there on the first night as a solo business traveller and the second night my boyfriend came to join me. As a woman in London on my own, it was quite daunting but the hotel and staff were very welcoming and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. An excellent hotel which was great value for money.     The hotel staff were brilliant! The staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries I had. The room was very clean and tidy and was well equipped too. Breakfast was also excellent.

    The only slight down point was that it could possibly do with a revamp in the public areas. The carpets were filthy on the stairs but I am sure this is just due to wear and tear.

    I appreceiated the friendly service. Use of iron in the room is a big plus. I found the bed extremely comfortable and bed sheets were excellent quality. Also request for a quiet room was noted. Added bonus of full English breakfast. All in all, with the central London location, I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Blandford Hotel.

    Purely personal as I'm not keen on the colour red in a hotel room. Noticed carpet on parts of the stairs was grubby.....and not in keeping with rest of hotel.

    "The hotel is just off the main Marylebone Road but despite this the location in a quiet residential street noise was not a problem. The hotel is easily accessible to the main attractions - Oxford Street is in easy walking distance as is Regents Park in the opposite direction. Although there is not a restaurant in the hotel there are some within easy walking distance which the hotel is able to offer at a slightly discounted rate to residents, though this information would have been useful to have known during the booking process. The rooms have been recently reburbished to a high standard and as such the hotel offers good value for money. As a lone female traveller I did not feel uncomfortable or unsafe." (99679174)

    The newly reburbished interior is very tasteful and for the price rooms were well appointed
