    "Exactly what I wanted from an overnight stay; uncomplicated, clean, quiet and very good value for money." (108428475)

    Room clean, shower A1, quiet location, comfortable bed.

    Not BAD but: uninspiring frontage; contact to book-in had to made by phone call from front door.(OK, but unusual)

    The staff of the hotel were very very helpful in suggesting things when i moved into the country, since i was new and came in to study ; Room's amenties are very good ; The morning course is also good and nutritious

    There was nobody in attendance on my arrival. Shower room and shower room floor as very cold.

    Lovely staff, good breakfast, lots of facilities in my room. Accesible from Uxbrdige station by bus.

    Quite isolated - looked pretty near to the tube station at Hillingdon on the map, but it turned out to be an hour's walk away.

    "Did not enjoy the stay at all. There was noone to check us in we had to ring the number on the door above a bucket full of cigrette ends and was told that the door to the room was round the side of the house with the key left in it and asked what time we would like breakfast. The room was mix and max furnitue with poor heating and the bathroom was in the entrance to the hall way and was in desperate need of updating. A visit from the Hotel Inspector is needed was very disappointed and out of pocket in terms of value for money. " (107313339)

    in this instance there was not one good point

    the property was run down internally and externally the room smelt dank the curtains were dirty the pillows on the bed were badly stained under the covers we were a family of three staying in the room - there were only facilities for 2 people - as we arrived late on the night due to the fact we were seeing another family member in hospital at Harefields and due to the fact that clearly the owners did not live at the property we had to make do - the shower head and cubicle was filthy black and none of us felt we could take a shower in it as we would have felt dirtier after than before - the sink was ridiculously small and a shelf stuck out just above it making washing or cleaning teeth almost impossible - the toilet was probably the best feature it was immaculately clean and plenty of toilet rolls - the towels (only 2) smelled and were extremely well used and rough as was the bed linen - there was a hole in the ceiling immediately outside the bedroom where clearly there had been a damp problem and there were damp patches in the room - the fridge dripped water all night (internally) so it was like a constant tap running - the breakfast was ok altho the rug under the table was filthy - my sister used the brown sauce which exploded on her breakfast out of dirty plastic bottle - the cutlery was dirty and we had to wipe it before using it - but the food was plentiful as in there was cereals tea and coffee toast (and we did ask for more and this was provided) and the breakfast tho small (particularly for a man) was ok altho i had to give mine to my husband as it wasnt big enough for a man

    location - easy travel to Heathrow Airport ( the area was known to me from 25 years ago!)

    bathroom and particularly shower heads need a good clean; window in room was not secure; door only stayed closed when the key was turned;

    cant get better 4 the amount i payed even with a 5% charge as i payed on a card . but having breckfast as well in the price you cant complane as if u go 2 a travel lodge u have 2 pay more 4 breckfast . so in all i did not mind paying that bit more .

    The breakfast was good.

    Lack of attention (i.e) the door did not lock on the inside, there was no host to welcome on arrival and the bed was dodgy!! The Bathroom was outside the actual room (not sure if I was sharing)!

    it was clean and we did have plenty of space and plenty car parking

    it was very hot and every time anyone used the hot water the boiler was very loud which is not very good at 5 in the morning

    It was very reasonable and good value for money. The room was comfortable.

    The floorboards creaked a lot in the room.

    "I thought the information given on the internet was good. I knew what bus to take, etc... there was a bit of a walk in the dark with my suitcase, which I didn't like much being a girl on my own. I didn't meet any staff which was strange, and had to let myself in and call on my mobile to speak to someone to find my room! so I didn't feel welcomed at all. The sheets were dirty which I think is a basic requisite for staying in hotel/B&B and I had to change these before I slept with one of the other beds in the room. The general feel of my room was basic/shabby - ie. no light bulb in area over my bed." (99770790)

    the fact that I had TV and a fridge and microwave and tea facilities

    the bed sheets were unclean and I had to change them with another bed in the room before I slept. My room was cold when I arrived and all night. And there was no light bulb in the part of the room where my bed was. General feel of the room was unclean.

    Only thing we didnt like was being woken up at 0630 on Sat morning by some music- couldnt do anything about it as couldnt work out where it was coming from

    "All the decor in this Guest House is a bit dated, security didn't seem very adequate, no-one was in the house when we arrived we had to let ourselves in. The fridge in the room was noisy, shower was hanging off the wall and there was no hair-dryer in the room. Won't recommend this to my friends." (3304962909)

    Convenient access to Heathrow Airport while not experiencing noise from the airport. Room was clean and adequeate, even surprised by fridge and microwave appliances. Bed was comfortable, room clean.

    Cold room with no obivous instructions for heating, light out over the shower. We arrived about 8 pm and had to call owners and then wait outside for staff to arrive to let us in. Since we had no cell phone, it was not convenient making this call. I'd have preferred being able to get in and have access to a phone inside or other arrangements. We also found only one set of towels set out for the two of us but were promptly supplied in the morning when I went down to ask for them... A reasonable oversite.

    "The hotel is brilliantly located for getting into central London and it is a warm, comfortable place to stay. The lady host (sorry don't know her name) serves a fab breakfast and is always very welcoming and the place has quite a home from home feel. This is my third stay in just over 12 months so that, I think, speaks for itself." (3304579918)

    Its location and the opportunity to come and go as we please.

    The room was starting to look a little rough around the edges and could do with a lick of paint. Otherwise everything was great.
