    breakfast set up was very poor. buffet style but had to wait for everything. no milk no coffee throughout breakfast period!

    Cleaning & environment

    Bath - enamelmissing/rust in 2 places in the bath - one of them where one is seated. Restaurant - supper - waitress not sure which menu in use; food did not feel fresh - fish & chips dry; no tartare sauce; sparkling water not kept in fridge so ice quickly melts. Key card - could not open door first time so had to drag my bags back to reception

    "I found the hotel very good. The bedroom was lovely and well appointed. The staff were generally friendly. The hotel is well located - easy reach of London - but not too close. We were visiting Hampton Court and it is ideally situated for that. Richmond Park is just down the road, which is a beutiful place to visit. There is plenty of parking at the hotel." (107605807)

    Booked a romantic touch and was delighted with the champagne, flowers and chocolates that were in the bedroom. My wife was really pleased and thought I had organised all this myself - I didn't disillusion her - so thank you very much !

    "I never find hotels of a same quality or standard in London as opposed to elsewhere in the country, it seems as though standards do not matter for some reason. We noticed this in a cafeteria we went to for something to eat as well, food was nice but the cleanliness of the floor and tables had much to be desired. The hotel was last minute booking for the rugby at Twickenham as we had won two hospitality tickets, so it is not somewhere I would have gone to out of choice. Considering this was graded 4 star - that might be OK for London standards but definitely not a comparison on hotels in other parts of the country. Dissapointing but in some ways you do expect this as I say of London, which is shame." (107771264)

    Conveniently located for the rugby at Twickenham. Nice quiet room at the back of the hotel. Room service in the evening was good.

    Could do with a good refurbish, room looked tatty round the edges and the carpet was disgusting, I told my partner not to walk bare foot on it, never saw the cleaners with a hoover, toilet was not clean, had to clean it myself with toilet paper and soap provided, could see excrement round the rim of the toilet. Drawers could have done with a good clean and cupboard/wardrobe area smelled musty.

    Room entry system in working very poor, I needed 2 times a new card The hotels does not accept Amex, but they promote the amex brand on the checkout paper etc

    "Lovely hotel - much better than we expected from 'first (outside) impressions'!" (107279471)

    Private parking, friendly staff, good number of additional room extras e.g hairdryer, iron, minibar, trouserpress, etc etc

    The bed was a 'small double' - not big enough for two adults! Newspaper requested but not delivered (but charged on the bill). No condiments supplied with the English Breakfast - wouldn't have expected to need to request them. No fresh cups given with the morning tea, we had to wash up the cups used from the night before.

    Good location, on site parking.

    Poor food, rooms drab and dated, T.V didn't work (the whole hotel was down due to fault with aerial. I was promised it could be fixed same day, but it wasn't)

    Assistance at the front desk was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay comfortable.

    Service at the bar was a bit slow - stood for just a glass of wine for 5 minutes. Thought the bar tender could have gotten to me more quickly.

    "Although the hotel was generally good, the standard of services offered did not match the price charged. Meal service was hit and miss (e.g. provision of correct cutlery for food ordered). It should not be necessary to teach the bar staff how to mix a large whisky and lemonade (i.e. don't forget the whisky!)." (97175456)

    "Overall the stay was very satisfactory, breakfast in the conservatory let the experience down and the conservatory was very hot and stuffy even with a couple of windows open. I would however return to the hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was clean, well maintained and good value for money.     Excellent location, easy to book, staff all very helpful. Room was clean and well equipped, comfortable bed.

    Breakfast was not particularly impressive. I had to wait for my eggs to arrive after I had been to the buffet and much of what was on the hot buffet looked to have been there some time. Fruit juice containers were left empty for most of the 20 minutes that I was in the dining room.

    mi è piaciuta molto Londra, anche se non sono riuscita a vedere tutto. in albergo erano gentilissimi, simpatici, disponibili, sempre pronti alle mie esigenze e pazienti perchè io non parlo inglese e chiedevo tutto in italiano. E' stata una meravigliosa vacanza, se tornerò a Londra (e credo lo farò questa estate) andrò al Kingston Londge Hotel nuovamente, senza dubbio.......

    è stato tutto molto bello......

    "We were extremely happy with what we had booked. The hotel was clean and the staff extremely helpful, nothing was too much bother. Online the hotel was described as warm and cosy and it certainly was. The lounge area of the hotel was excellent and plenty of places to sit and relax together with snacks available all day."     "Made to feel welcome , warm friendly helpful staff. We ran out of milk after our arrival - and a member of staff came to the room immediately with a jug of fresh milk. Good reasonably priced dinner - which we greatly enjoyed. comfortable beds- good bathroomm lots of hot water.Good car park - a real bonus!" (97705609)

    My only critisism was the hospitality tray - tired boring biscuits, no hot chocolate.etc No general hotel info- meal times, menus etc.

    HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES OVER THE PAST 3 YEARS AND ALWAYS HAD A GOOD STAY,

    I HAD NO HOT WATER THE NEXT DAY AND WAS UNABLE TO HAVE A SHAVE OR WASH WITH HOT WATER, I NOTIFIED THE RECEPTION BUT IT TOOK OVER 35 MINUTES TO SORT AND I HAD TO GO TO WORK, SO NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

    got a nice balconly in my room.

    If I were traveling by car, it should be alright. However, I was traveling by train and the distance from the norbiton station to the hotel is a bit distance. Also, there is no clear sign to show the way to the hotel. Therefore, I found it a bit difficult and based on the information was given by your staff the distance between the train station to the hotel, it only takes 5-10mins. However, it wasn't as I am not familiar the area. However, apart from that, generally the hotel was lovely and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Thanks.

    !. The room stank of cigarette smoke when I arrived, and despite airinig the smell lingered during my stay. 2. For an elderly person there are too many stairs to climb. Pity there is no lift.

    "Breakfast was a nightmare. We had to sit at a table which had not been cleared. Ten minutes later it was and we ordered tea and coffee. This arrived with prompting ten minutes later with the tea in a coffee pot with no lid and the coffee in a teapot. Even though it was only 9o'clock there was a shortage of items on the buffet. The toaster was a joke as the toast disappeared and could only be found when the toaster was moved. Although there were three staff they were more interested in chatting than clearing the tables. There seemed to be no-one in charge. The whole experience, not only for us but also the rest of the diners was reminicent of Faulty Towers. We have been coming to this hotel for the last fifteen years but were very disappointed this year. This was the first time I had booked online and was dismayed to find that everyone we spoke to had paid less than us and also had breakfast included." (99673951)

    comfy bed,nice size, excellent shower nice breakfast in room

    non smoking,room was dark,being woken up at 7.45am with a paper we hadnt ordered-reporting this to reception who didnt appear botherd! or even apologise-then knocking the door again half an hour later to retreive the paper. not having any salt pepper sauce etc with breakfast and toast only cooked on one side

    Good sized bathroom. Good public transport links. Good parking.

    Threadbare carpet and upholstery to furniture. Requested quiet room but got the room (201) right next to the loud, banging internal fire door. Newspaper ordered but never arrived. Breakfast was dreadful. Hot food was cold at 9.00am. No fresh juices. No milk or butter on tables and when requested (for the third time) was served in a red hot teapot!
