    All the hotel staff were always pleased to help and to a high standard.

    There seemed to be some confusion on checking in as to what we had actually booked E.g. breakfast & free upgrade. This was soon rasolved. Taxi's were booked for an 8 mile/20min trip costing £38 each way, seems like extortion at it's finest I think.

    The staff were not that helpful and I felt that instead of having to ask for things they should have been more forth comming with information such as a car park ticket. Also I could not get a printout of my bill and requested it faxed to me which has not happened

    Separate lavatory from bathroom. Provision of tea making facilities. Excellent breakfast. Large,clean family room.

    The room on the first floor was extremely hot with no air conditioning and no window. Although a fan was provided it was inadequate in making the room sufficiently comfortable.

    For the money, this hotel has the right facilities for me as a lone female travelling - gym access, room service, internet access etc.

    Air conditioning in room never seems to be working. And they don't have Sky Sports :o)

    Clean room, efficient layout of room, good TV options, great shower, comfortable bed.

    Very slow staff, both in check-in & restaurant, car park almost as expensive as the room, expensive restaurant and internet access, inability to print our a simple zero balance receipt on check-out.

    Can be difficult to get to entrance when aproached from some roads.

    The staff were very helpful and attentive. Checking in and out was easy.

    When we arrived the room was cold but one call to the desk fixed the problem. In five minutes they sent a heater and the room was warm within an hour. When we checked out they told us that they were working on the heating system. Shortly that problem should disapear.

    Secure car parking. Good location close to M4.

    Building work going on during day time. Hotel room and corridor smelled a little of cigarette smoke. Charges for overnight parking and breakfast seemed high.

    It was the first time I've stayed at a Novatel and will definitely stay again before using Heathrow I had been staying for the last 4 yrs with another chain but they had increased the price of my overnight stay by a large amount you were recommmended by a friend and I will be using you again Thanks

    I had a meal from room service and was on the phone and didn't hear them knock so they returned to the kitchen and phoned me, maybe a firmer knock or bell would have helped it was fish and chips so the delay meant it wasn't as hot as it might have been.

    hotel staff were kind, cheerful and helpful. they also seemed very efficient and knowledgeable the room was clean and very envirogating. the carpark intelligent security systems gave me peace of mind.

    I booked for my room online a couple of days before. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the hotel, the staff could not locate my booking from the system and I had to organise the booking on the spot. It turned out that my original online booking which the reception staff could not detect had already been processed, resulting in a double charge. However, I had a reimbursement a week later. Next time I will be apprehensive to book online because the double payment could mean surpassing O/D threshholds, resulting in unauthorised bank borrowings and hence finance charges. I would therefore resort to a telephone booking until my online booking anxieties are reduced to an acceptable level.

    Quality of food in the bar was excellent. The ability to be able to choose the size of the portion (taster, starter or main)is a good idea.

    Sometimes the bar staff wander off to the restaurant area, hence service time is a bit slow.

    As per previouse visits....very good. Large rooms,good service and seperate WC to bathroom!

    Entrance to hotel by road can be difficult if not familular with apalling road junction you have to negotiate on entrance to hotel. Food & drinks prices a little high even for this area!

    Fast check-in and cleanliness

    We were lucky to have been there when the car park ticket machine was down. I can accept a fee for parking but not 9 Pounds. Additionally the cost of internet usage is high and so is the breakfast. It creates an tension that takes away from the experience. Quite frankly it makes me feel like a target and I would rather drive a little farther. In N. America most hotel provide a free breakfast ranging from light to substantial and free internet which is cheap to provide anyways. We've experienced this kind of service in the Heathrow area as well. It creates a sense that the visit is appreciated and removes the feeling of vulnerability.

    Restaurant staff were very good.

    First bad point...I approched the reception desk to check in (i was the only person at the desk) the receptionists first words to me were "I am serving someone else" I had not said a word to her plus the was nobody else to be seen. A good afternoon or a hello would of been nice. Second bad point.....The breakfast we had delivered to our room was stone cold the plates only being covered with a bit of cling film there were no condiments or sauces. Third bad point.....we left our 3 year olds koala bear in the room and phoned from the airport to enquire if they could check the room too see if they could find it the said they would phone us back. This didn't happen so we phoned back and explained the situation to another person again we were promised a call back, again this didn't happen on the third attempt we were told they had found the bear. We ask for the bear to be sent to an english address and were asked for a credit card so we could pay for postage. We had just spent

    During our stay the room got very hot the heating was off, and were trying to find the ac unit. To our suprise we coundt find it had to ring the reception, and to find out that there was no ac and were told to open the window well it was a warm evening and was not pleased about that
