    The b&b was very clean and the staff were very very kind when became ill during my stay there. Very nice people.

    The only bad thing was that I was not told that check in time was before 9.30pm

    "Very welcoming and helpful. All we wanted was somewhere to get changed for a party and to lay our heads afterwards. Unfortunately, the other guests' noise wasn't conducive to a great night's sleep but there you go... earplugs to the rescue! Probably won't stay again because this was a one-off party at The Belfry and we have no need to be in the region for anything else." (108075471)

    Easy to find. Convenient for The Belfy which was the whole point of the visit.

    Winter duvet - it was far too hot! Duvet was very lumpy and uncomfortable. The host apologised for the bath and no shower; no problem, but there was actually a hand held shower which could so easily be attached to the wall and then a loop-around curtain added without extra tiling needed. Need to swap all bulbs for economy bulbs; the wattage is our room was extortionate! Lose the easy chair (room 2) and replace with a bedside table and lamp - reading was impossible. TV too high up the wall and too small to be of any use whatsoever. Cleanliness could be improved upon slightly - dead insects on the windowsill in the bathroom!

    The owners made you feel at home straight away. The hotel was clean and and tidy. The breakfast was excellent.

    "Like to have known quality of beds, comfort levels etc. My wife didn't have anywhere to sit and do her hair and make up so dressing table facility would have been nice. Security of car park (ie: CCTV)is important to me. Like to have known the bathroom facilities in more detail. Better ventilation of bathroom is something I need to know. I should have liked to know when booking that there was a booking surcharge of 15% which had I gone direct I would have avoided. I think the surcharge is too high as a booking fee. I'd like to see it reduced. Hoteliers should pay for their exposure on the site. I'd like to see it free to people booking accommodation" (97155844)

    Cleanliness. Well tended exterior. Adequate car parking but out of sight of main house so not secure. Friendly reception.

    Beds uncomfortable.En Suite bathroom too small. Inadequate ventilation. Limited WC facilities. Stairs dangerous to negotiate. Inadequate handrail or none at all and very narrow stair treads. Steep angle made it difficult to get luggage up. Breakfast pre-cooked and kept hot until served. No dressing table facility for ladies. Room TV's very old and need updating. TV remote would not operate from the bed

    Everyone was extremly friendly, the rooms were lovely and clean,lots of hot water, plenty of parking, breakfast was agreat start to the day, will be back again.

    The room was spacious and well decorated, with a lovely bathroom.

    There was no shower in the bathroom - but this wasn't a tragedy!

    The location of the hotel was fantastic, breakfast was great and when i had to leave very early and was greated with a bacon sandwich, fantastic.

    Friendly landlady - nice breakfast - convenient location for NEC Birmingham

    I could clearly hear the TV from the adjacent room, mounted on the dividing wall. The guest there had the TV on from about 11pm. It woke me still on at 3 am in the morning, and I had to knock to ask for the guest to turn it off. Maybe consider asking guests NOT to watch TV so loud and/or so late.

    "Overall this a lovely B&B. It represents good value for money. The location means that even during the week it only takes 20 minutes to get to the NEC (no need to go on M42). Both village pubs offer good food and drink at reasonable prices. I would be very happy to go back there. The single negative is the outside lights affecting the room but it should be noted that this only concerns the room above the pool (room 5 I think)" (3305267958)

    Comfortable, clean, friendly reception. Perfect for access to NEC. Two good pubs within walking distance

    Because of outside lights, it was necessary to sleep with a mask to keep out the light (never dark in room). The outside lights could not be turned off.

    Easy access from Motorway Quiet location, beautiful house and surrounding area

    The accomodation was immaculate Breakfast and service was nothing short of perfect. One of the nicest B and B's ever stayed in. Felt very comfortable. Also two very nice pubs in local picturesque village to visit and eat evening meals at extremely good prices and high standard of quality.

    "This guest house is not in Sutton Coldfield, but in the small village of Curdworth. Although it's very easy to find from the motorway (M42) we got totally lost trying to find our way back along country roads from Lichfield late at night! That said the guest house is lovely and the village is quiet and pleasant. We had a great meal at a pub (The Beehive) just a short walk down the road. Breakfast was served a little early for me (8am - 9am) but was absolutely delicious. The owner was very friendly and all in all we had a great weekend stay." (3305206158)
