    "A pleasant hotel in a lovely setting, and so close to Glasgow and the airport too. Potentially a gem!" (108297353)

    Staff were all very helpful and friendly

    Some of the electrical fittings in the bedroom did not work (e.g. extractor fan, electric kettle)

    hotel facilities were second to none.. very good restraunt and restraunt staff very helpful and friendly

    our room.. had stains on walls,carpet and bed clothing..

    "Overall the accommodation, bar, restaurant and outside areas was tired and looked neglected, which is a shame really as the place sits in a nice location. The evening meal did not light my torch (£26 incl coffee)on this occasion I'll put that down to the choice I made, however I did enjoy breakfast." (107505743)

    I had a suite and found this to be spacious and good value

    maintenance in the bathroom needed more atention to detail, the shower lead leaked and would not come off its hook and the bedside lights did not work.

    clean hotel and friendly staff. Breakfeast was good

    none it was well worth the money would go back without the kids next time

    Some facilities over loaded (particularly bar area) resulting in slow service.

    "As a former resident of the local area, Gleddoch House always had a reputation as being the elite hotel in the area. My experience was very disappointing in comparison." (107243364)

    Location, view, attractive grounds, room size.

    Daily housekeeping, no response to telephone and in-person request to treat large unsanitary mould patch on bathroom ceiling. Bathroom could use modernization. Room access key was "automatically" cancelled part way through stay, and had to be replaced on 2 successive days.

    "lovely views - unfriendly staff - poor management" (107127192)

    twin room had two comfortable double beds, good shower, good buffet breakfast

    disinterested/surly staff. Poor routines in place at breakfast so that it was difficult to obtain tea/coffee/toast. Staff did not seem to be responsible for specific tables and were more interested in clearing away dishes than seeing to guests needs.Staff were generally unfriendly - not the typical Scottish experience! Staff training required - including the manager!!!

    "Overall the hotel surroundings and acommodation was a pleasant experience. Check in staff were good, although I arrived after 4pm I had to wait around to see if my room had been prepared. I felt that on checking out the staff could have been a little more customer friendly, I was not even asked if my stay had been enjoyable or if I had had any problems." (3305234969)

    The room was very comfortable and spacious

    Crockery, bottles of water an food spillage was left in the hallways for the duration of my stay. Another small point was that I ordered a newspaper which was never forthcoming.

    "Our stay was good we picked this hotel for the ability to travel to Glasgow , Greenock , Loch Lomond etc . The hotel has a golf course ,swimming pool ,sauna , and steam room" (3305169399)

    The swimming pool and leisure facilities where good , also the golf course was on your door step if you played.
