    Good assistance to my specific requests. Staff generally pleasant and friendly.

    Free wi-fi internet extremely poor signal, had to take laptop into lounge to get anything at all (didn't work in room). Appreciate that it is free, but personally, I would rather pay and have a better service.

    Excellent facilities, more like 5 star hotel facilities but not quite the same standard. Trouser press, Ironing board, etc all in the room. Free Parking, breakfast included and an excellent price.

    No wardrobe space in room 122 Wash hand basin was only approximately 350mm off the floor, even too low for a wheelchaired person. Cold water tap to basin was falling off

    Courteous staff, helpful and polite. Good parking facilities. Good transport links, easy to get to. Value for money when booked over the net. One night was £30 including breakfast - £45 if paid onsite. Breakfast was a bonus - juice, cereal and toast along with tea and coffee - as much as you like and a good period of time in which to eat. 7-ish till 9.30am, which meant I could stay in bed a bit longer. Check in is at 14.00 which is good.

    It is not clear on the website that the hotel is on both sides of the road. The room seemed a bit small with not a lot of space around the bed. The window did not have nets/blinds and directly faced another building where work was being carried out, meaning there was no privacy with the curtains open. we kept the curtains closed and had the fan on to keep cool as it was a warm and pleasant day. The shower/bath looks like it could be updated and have the limescale removed. There was only one towel in the room and we had to request another one. It would have been nice for fruit to be available as there was a wide age range of guests staying. Having said all that, for the price and the fact breakfast was included it was not a bad experience overall and I would use the hotel again.

    The rooms were nice clean and all the required ammenities. It was easy to check in and find room. I would stay here again.

    The breakfast was awful, the worst part of the stay it was just bread and jam and some plain cereal...plus we had to wait in a long queue and it was not even worth it. The breakfast system needs to be changed as the way the queues work is ridiculous. Also it would be useful to have some information on busses as this is not mentioned. Fyi you can get the No. 56 and 48 to this hotel.

    Good value for budget hotel. Good size room with everything you need.

    Not sure what the hotel had to offer if any. On arrival and check in only advice received was room No and when breakfast was available. Bathroom could have done with a paint job.

    Very poor security - fire exits left open and two rooms double booked. Luckily it was my boss who got my room the second time. Bar poorly stocked and took ages

    Quite room at the back of hotel but i can imagine it would be very noisy at the front Ample parking Staff willing to go the extra mile by opening bar early to water weary travellers

    No hot water in morning, cold shower security issues expereinced by colleagues was appalling!! lift stopped and door wouldnt open on first attempt to reach our floor, had to return to ground floor and try again

    La fermeture d'une fenetre cassée d'où beaucoup de bruit de la rue. Pas de goblet à dent dans la salle de bain; 2 draps de bain pour 3 et pas de serviette

    "ideal for us as we were only staying one night and as we were going to the football at The Emirates Stadium, the hotel was situated well." (108665734)

    Staff really friendly, accomodation clean and tidy. facilities were just what was required. check in was quick and easy. the overall experience was dampened a little as the hotel was a bit away from the tube and we weren't sure where we were going but next time we will be prepared.

    "Our 2nd visit to this hotel & was pleasent,has changed a bit since last year,didn't find the staff as friendly & helpful last year. My only gripe is that it could do with air conditioning/cooling units in the rooms as it can be unbearably hot in the summer. Would like to thank the young chap who checked us in,the handyman and the lady behind the bar,found them very pleasent and helpful." (107654847)

    The staff were very good,when we got there our kettle didn't work & there was no fan in the room.so we went to reception & the young chap sorted it out imediately & sent a handyman up to look at the kettle,he couldn't get it working so he bought up a kettle from the staff room & also brought us a fan. Breakfast was well organised & the young lady behind the bar was very friendly.

    The walls in our room were dirty,some children had put dirty hand prints all over & could have done with a clean,& it does get very hot and humid in the rooms,specially at night.

    The hotel was good value and the staff were friendly and helpful

    We had two rooms, a twin room and a family room. The family room was fine but the twin room was on the third floor and the window wouldn't open so was very hot and stuffy, but then the noise from the road was loud so couldn't win!

    "It was a hot night and ventilation was poor. I did not expect air conditioning in view of the price. I was with a friend who was visitng from Poland and was embarrassed at the impression she would form of hotel standards in England." (107544754)

    At £37 for the room, the cost was very reasonable for London. The room was spacious. The beds were reasonably comfortable although they did not have valances and the sides were shabby; they looked like cheap divan beds.

    The carpet was filthy, torn in places and was not fully fitted. The bathroom fittings were stained and needed replacing. The window ledge was rotting. Overall the room and fittings were tatty compared to the exterior of the hotel.

    Got stuck in lift - but sorted by staff within minutes.
