    It is what it is which is a two star seaside hotel cheaply furnished and sppointed but clean relatively comfortable with nice staff

    Stayed in January. Room was warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for bath. Food was good quality and good portions. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

    Shower was disappointing with limited pressure and only warmish water. TV had only 4 channels

    Staff including owner were exceeding friendly and helpful.

    Thought the hotel looked a bit "tired" in some areas and I felt a small pack of biscuits could have been included with the tea/coffee tray!

    Good size clean room. Breakfast Excellent. Good size pot of tea and all food hot

    I thought the TV was goimg to be in black and White it looked so old. It was colour but not very good. Time for a flat screen and freeview I think. Found bed a bit soft

    When we checked in, the lobby smelt of smoke. The room was very small & there was no bath in the ensuite.

    "Enjoyed our one night stay - staff very attentive - breakfast could have been bigger - i.e. no mushrooms, baked beans, black pudding or tattie scones - but still ok - apart from you could not have fruit juice if you orered porrdige or cereal!!" (99044019)

    "The only thing we would have liked to know beforehand was the distance from the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly and efficient - We would go as far as to say the best dining room service we have experienced. Cheerful friendly banter in the lounge made everyone feel at home."     "This hotel fitted in with exactly what I wanted for my overnight stay. I also believe it would suit anybody who wanted to stay in the area for a longer period. I was able to arrange all of my tavel arrangements, i.e. taxis with just one phone call to the reception. I would recomend this hotel." (1302409)
