    Very convenient for tube from Heathrow. Good cooked breakfast (but no info about what alternatives available).

    Lack of welcome on arrival - just a demand for payment before being shown to our room (and no receipt provided for our cash payment).

    Very convenient for tube to Heathrow. Receptionist provided info about nearby places to eat when we asked.

    Receptionist did not make us feel welcome. He demanded payment before showing us to our room. We paid in cash but did not receive a receipt. Bed head was under marble mantlepiece - beware of hitting your head!

    very friendly staff, clean, tidy room with full size fridge. Breakfast more than adequate size wise and freshly cooked food. Only 2-3 minutes walk from Hounslow Central underground. Good shopping centre with pubs and an all you can eat chinese buffet restaurant, all within 5 minutes walk from the guest house.

    Problem with hot water as tanks had run out before we all had chance to shower. Hotel mamager was however very apologetic.

    Bit dusty in corners of room and around windowsills Bathroom very small and difficult to get around hand basin - would benefit from a smaller handbasin.

    Great location for Heathrow - very close to underground or convenient taxi from hotel with pick up from airport. Very friendly staff. Clean, large family room for 5. Easy walk to local shopping area and restaurants. Decent cooked breakfast.

    Next to road with some late night noise from people in the street. Not a scenic area.

    Breakfast was good. Our other rooms were big, can accommodate five in a family that other hotels can't.

    Our room doesnt smell clean. We saw little foul smelling bugs in one of the rooms crawling. Our first day there, we had no water, then there was no hot water til late night my baby got so grumpy because he couldn't bathe. Our bathroom was sooo tiny, that our knees won't fit in the loo, and the sink. The shower was soo tiny and doesn't look clean as well. It was too hot in our room even with electric fan on.

    The management of Crompton Guest house could not have been more pleasant or helpful. I had a map e-mailed to me with directions to get there & when they knew we were going to Twickenham provided us with another map as we wanted to walk to the ground which was only about 25mins away -they also would have provided a taxi had we chosen that option -the room & the facilities were very clean & excellent and the breakfast the following morning was good value & more than enough to eat

    Although a mistake was made in the booking process Sunny the owner excelled himself in making good. Nothing is too much trouble and the location for Twickenham is superb!! Facility suited the purpose spot on.

    "the hotel in on the landing path for Heathrow so planes were landing approx every 80 seconds...right above us...but don't let that put you off it didn't disturb us when we were asleep, also right next to a underground stop...but didn't really notice" (107864922)

    Staff were courteous and helpful, and the twin bedded room, and shower/toilet for single use were comfortable, if not over-spaceous.

    It would be fair to point out that I may have been tempted to score the hotel a little more highly had it not been for an unfortunate plumbing problem that had hit the establishment immediatetly proir to me arrival, and affected to water supply to my wash basin.

    Breakfast was absolutely brilliant! Room was warm, clean and very comfortable.

    Flush button on the toilet was slightly broken which made it difficult to use.

    Clean spacious room, the breakfast was very nice. Overall very good value for money.

    DVD player on TV did not work. To be fair, we didn't mention it to manager as we had a busy weekend

    Breakfast was good and prompt

    floors not properly cleaned. bathroom dirty. Cost of the room was taken from my credit card account, 3 days before we arrived - even though I was intending to pay with cash (to save 5% charge). This was refunded. Room is too small as a double room. There was nowhere to put one suitcase without blocking doors etc. Bed was old and mattress lacked support.

    The manager was very friendly and easily gave our group information about the subway and travelling to and from London on the subway. We appreciated the pickup and drop off at the airport.
