    Prompt service from all staff, Excellent location/facilities/room/food.

    Had a reaction to treatment used on my back, solved by spa manager, treatment price refunded and received free spa gift.

    Firstly, I was asked if I had any allergies before arrival and I informed the staff that I am allergic to almonds. When we arrived, the hotel had a box of chocolates (ALL WITH NUTS) and at dinner, we were served almonds with our drinks. What was the point of asking my allergies if I was going to be given almonds regardless? Secondly, I paid extra to be upgraded to a deluxe hotel which was to include a King size bed. Upon arrival, the room was not deluxe and the bed was queen size. We were subsequently moved into another room with a king size bed, but given no compensation for the hassle. A bottle of wine or something for inconvenience would have been nice.

    Superb location in the countryside but close to Bath /beautiful building / outstanding hotel decor / comfortable, spacious room / beautiful grounds & gardens / fantastic food / excellent staff courtesy & professional attention. This hotel must rank amongst the best in the world !

    Only the cost - which is exceedingly high !!

    "We had a 2 night stay at the hotel and couldnt fault it. The staff were attentive, without being too pushy. The accomodation was spotless, with nice touches like small box of chocs left in the room welcoming you. The hotel whilst looks grand wasnt as formal as perhaps we first thought ie dress code. Smart casual. Drinks were expensive but in line with he hotel" (3304682377)

    "Lucknam Park is a delightful place to stay. The mile long tree lined drive provides a beautiful first impression of the hotel which has pretty and interesting gardens. The leisure facilities are welcoming and the staff is very attentive. Our meal was a delicious experience (including an interesting explanation of the cheese board). A stay at Lucknam Park is a special treat which I thoroughly recommend." (3304591665)

    Lucknam Park is a delightful place to stay. It has wonderful views and gardens and very attentive staff.

    There is very little to dislike - tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom would be welcome even though room service is available.

    Beautiful park and grounds, luxurious room and common areas, staff reasonably formal but friendly, superb dinner, great service, very relaxing and nice pool area. It is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but looked and felt more like a 5-star place to us.

    Nothing really, except in the morning we were seated not in the bigger and nicer room with everyone else as there were no tables for three but in the other still empty room, which we somehow thought had to do with us having a kid with us.

    "I thought that the staff were excellent, they were all very polite and attentive whilst remaining unobtrusive at the same time. The food was of an excellent standard and quite delicious. There were many nice touches, such as the staff remembering our surname and using it. The whole setting for the hotel with its extensive grounds and facilities are lovely. For this to then be amalgamated with such a lovely county house that has been furnished in such a tasteful and sumptuous manner made it a very special visit." (3304533868)

    It was very stylish, a successful combination of antique and modern furnishings to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

    "Having never stayed in a Spa Hotel before we were open minded about what we would find. The taxi driver on the way to the Hotel was great and very chatty but told us that the Hotel was a haven for the rich and famous etc. This made me slightly apprehensive as my partner and I mostly were jeans and leisure clothes, I was concerned that we would not fit in and probably be looked down upon (having been treated this way in other hotels). On our arrival however we were really well looked after and the staff were as attentive to us (in our scruffy clothes) as they were to the other older guests. We were very happy with our 2 nights and all the facilities are outstanding, the food is fantastic. The overall stay was well worth the money." (3304152000)

    The Hotel is situated in lovely grounds and is all set in and around the original old house.

    The Leisure staff were good but the staff in the rest of the Hotel were a lot more attentive and polite.

    "Excellent hotel with friendly, attentive staff and good leisure facilities. The hotel has a very good location being ideally situated for Bath but also set in a peaceful country location.     "Excellent weekend. The hotel was fabulous, we only wish that we could have spent more time using the hotels wonderful facilities." (1812130)

    The hotel appears to have excellent facilities and is undoubtedly set in beautiful grounds. Unfortunately due to spending a full three days at the Badminton Horse Trials we did not have the opportunity to make use of the hotels facilities.
