    Very high quality environment in an almost surreal location... as an infrequent visitor to London the journey was fairly fraught - but then you turn into a high class side street and it is almost a different world! Excellent staff - clean rooms and ideal for switching off at the end of the day - and the complimentary reception bar is unusual too.

    The elevator! Not big enough to swing a cat let alone carry a travel bag AND be taken to your room by a porter in... Anyone with claustrophobia should request a ground floor room! A minor negative overall though...

    Very good, in quite street with parking outside the hotel ony 2 mins walk to Harrods. The staff were excelent, well worth a stay.

    the location good to walk to & from area eateriers & sites

    be somewhat more knowlegable in other area hotels, what vat taxes include, etc. questions that tourists may have. have stamps available.

    Great location. Close to everything and situated in a nice quiet, treelined street

    Better lighting in the bathrooms. Provide tea & coffee facilities in the bedrooms

    "The cost of breakfast (approx £20 for 2 people) is not included in the published rate. Since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, breakfast in the room is the norm. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting Harrods, museums etc in Knightsbridge, and it is a very quick journey on the underground to London's West End. Car parking outside the hotel is limited to 2 hours, at £3 per hour, from 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday (free outside those times). Don't be late back to the car - you will get a £100 parking fine 5 minutes after your ticket runs out. Other nearby 24 hour car parks are £42 per day." (2458517)

    Room was clean, well decorated, fairly spacious. Complimentary drinks from the bar was nice.

    We have been veru suprised about the room we booked a deluxe room and the situation wes not fair. we had expecting a room upstair. The view of the garbage was not very romantic!...

    "THE BEAUFORT HOTEL OFFERS ITS GUESTS LUXURY OF THE HIGHEST STANDARD.THE ROOMS WERE EXTREMELY MODERN ,CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.THE STAFF AT THE HOTEL WERE OUTSTANDING, NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM, AND EVERY REQUEST WAS FULFILLED WITH A SMILE.THE CREAM TEA WAS AWAZING,WHICH WE ENJOYED IN THE LITTLE HAVEN DOWNSTAIRS IN THE SITTING ROOM.(ROOM 5)THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS IDEAL AS KNIGHTSBRIDGE TUBE WAS ONLY 3 MINS WALK AWAY.ALL IN ALL AN EXCELLENT HOTEL,MY ONLY CRITISM WOULD BE THAT WE THINK BREAKFAST SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE CHARGED FOR THE ROOM, AS IT WASNT CLEAR FROM THE BOOKING THAT BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED."     "The Beaufort Gardens situation was delightful both visually and for its situation in the city. The hotel's atmosphere was friendly and homely. The bed felt very comfortable and we both slept very well for the two nights away from our children, which is by no means always our experience in hotel rooms. Price of breakfast would have been worth knowing before. Breakfast might have been included as part of the price. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will consider returning when we next visit the capital." (1902954)

    Not a conveyor belt. Service felt personalised but discrete. Comfortable atmosphere.

    Hairdryer did not stay on without continual pressure on the button.

    Friendly, clean, comfortable and very handy for shopping in Knightsbridge

    If anything, the tiny trundling lift - and they forgot to send up our breakfast once.

    "Lovely small hotel with very helpful staff, nothing was ever a problem for them. Comfortable accommodation with personal touches such as the fresh flowers, complimentary mineral water etc. The free drinks offer was also well received. The only critism I have is that two emailed requests, one on the original booking with Active and one emailed direct to the hotel, were overlooked. However, I was very satisfied with my overall stay and will definitely go back again." (1562845)

    Almost everything. Very accomodating of our baby. Room was lovely & location great.

    Breakfast - pretty lame & overpriced. A few of the front desk staff could have been more helpful, though most were really excellent.

    "I believe that this hotel only had two advantages - the location and complimentary drinks offered. Otherwise I felt that this was an overpriced hotel. My room was in the basement and the view was of trash piled up outside the windows. The facilities in the room were basic and the decor whilst fairly good quality was very plain and not welcoming. When I tried to put my complaints to the reception they were ignored. I believe part of my disappointment lay in the fact that this hotel came so highly recommended in reviews both on line and in a premiere hotel magazine. So I was expecting a much higher level of room quality and position along with the facilities and staff than was actually afforded to me. I would not recommend this hotel." (1683496)

    The location of this hotel was excellent, very close to Harrods and other shops. The complimentary drinks available in the lounge were an enjoyable extra.

    I did not like the wooden floors which made the room cold, the beds slid around the floor as they were not attached to the headboard and the wooden floor provided no grip. Our room was in the basement, which felt very claustrophobic when traveling to and from the room as you had to go down stairs along narrow corridors and into another very narrow restricted area to access the room.

    "from the check in to the check out our stay was fantastic. I parked my car in Harrods car park, gave the keys to reception who went and picked it up for me and parked it outside the hotel when it was free in the evening, they also fed the meter for me in the morning until I was ready to leave. Our room, which we were upgraded to at no extra cost was delightful, with a small terrace that would be lovely to have breakfast on in the summer. We got a very good deal on the internet of £120 per room per night, which is a lot less than the advertised rate - I'm not so sure I would be quite as happy paying the full rate as the hotel is quite small. Our friends were in a smaller room than us, but were able to come and have breakfast in our room and the staff were happy to deliver their breakfast to our room. The lift is very small, only 2 people or 1 person and a suitcase would fit in, but this really doesn't matter as the staff will take your luggage up to your room and bring in down again for you. The hotel is in an excellent location just behind Harrods in Knightsbridge. They have a free bar from 3pm to 11pm every day, where they serve premiumn drinks and champagne. Your room has a tv/cd player and alarm clock, bathrobes,shampoo etc and a proper hairdryer, not one of those you normally get that are hung on a wall and only good for a mans hair!! I would recommend this hotel absolutely." (1579335)
