    "Nearest accommodation we could get for trip to Millenium Stadium in Cardiff an intended treat for my daughter and fiance who are getting married on 4th Sept 2009 what a disappointment." (107419204)

    location fabulous and breakfast fair but everything else below what I would have expected having stayed in many Best Western Hotels

    Hotel generally 'run down' and in my view in need of complete modernisation.My room was an enormous old fashioned family room but my daughter's nothing more than a large cupboard in the attic space but both were charged at the same rate.T.V was almost on the floor in the corner and due to positioning of furniture could not be viewed whilst lying in the bed. Bar and restaurant completely lacked any ambiance or atmosphere (not even a picture on the wall). Current decor throughout is old, worn and totally uninviting - need I go on, in general very poor and a complete dampener on our weekend away.

    hotel very tired and could do with a lick of paint, very old fashioned. I was also surprised to have added on vat to everything on the final bill as this was not made clear on menus/wine lists etc. evening meal was average for the price

    Slight smell of drains in room. Bit old fashioned. Needs a facelift.

    "I booked a single and was but was given a family room on the lower ground floor which was very spacious with a sea view. Decor again looked to be fairly recent in the room but the corridor area leading to it also featured what appeared to be service/storage rooms, paintwork and carpeting has seen better days. On the whole a good value for money Hotel and would not hesitate staying again. " (107829688)

    Hotel with plenty of character, decor in the reception, lounge, restaurant and bar areas looked to be recent and of a good standard. Used the restaurant for evening meal both nights I was there, good choice of menu, food of a very good standard and served promptly.

    Full English Breakfast is included in price and first morning I found the food available was buffet style and almost cold at 07.30 (breakfast is served from 07.00) add to this to no hot/warm plates this could be better. Second morning breakfast was served from the kitchen and was a vast improvement, both food and plates piping hot, I would suggest they stick to this method.

    Nice hotel very clean, friendly staff, nice see views, nice area,

    Thought we had sea view room, but didnt get one, also i thought in the add, it said all rooms had 4 poster beds.. our,s didnt... There was a party at the hotel and when everyone poored out at the end, they made so much noise it woke us up at the front of the hotel. if we were at the back with sea view we wouldnt of got disturbed.

    Very friendly staff, assistant resaurant manager particularly pleasant and very good and attentive in the restaurant. Beautiful situation and lovely sea view from bedroom. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Dogs allowed a bonus!

    "The Hotel has a good location near the seafront in Clevedon. Clevedon is a bit of a hidden gem - off the main tourist track, but well worth stopping off at. The Hotel has good parking, friendly staff, and a great view from the restaurant. The breakfast was very good on both days. Some of the rooms will also have the lovely sea views available from the restaurant - sadly our room overlooked the road, but it was still a nice room!" (97086651)

    the room was large with a sea view, the staff were friendly and we were able to bring our dog. It was close to the cliff path and area to exercise the dog

    some of the furniture in the room was "tired" / functional, rather than higher quality.

    "the hotel was delapidated, decoration grubby, didn't even want to put feet on carpet in room - grubby. toilet seat broken, bathroom smelly and damp. bed hideously uncomfortable with only 1 blanket and bedspread, pillows very insubstantial. couldn't wait to get out. staff pleasant and helpful though. the staff had obviously cleaned the room as best they could in circumstances so no complaint with them."     The checking in process at the hotel was awkward as they did not have a record of our online booking, fortunately we had printed out our confirmation. After a cup of tea we were given a room which was newly decorated and fine. The check-in staff were very professional and polite in sorting the problem.

    The hotel was fine, the food was not wonderful.

    "I have no problem with this hotel. It was exactly as I expected and afforded an excellent value for me. There was a full breakfast included and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Even though I was in the UK on business, at the end of the day I enjoy walking along the estuary in Clevedon and chose this hotel for that reason. The best thing I can say is that when I return to England, I will definitely stay at the Walton Park." (3305144524)

    I knew in advance there would be no air conditioning and the staff specifically gave me a room with a good breeze. The room was large, very clean and comfortable.

    Nothing that the hotel can control. The hotel is located on a narrow road, but alot of British towns are like that.

    "I didn't know that the hotel did not have air conditioning. Although it was comfortable at night once the sun went down and all the windows in my room where open. Coming from an area of the world where all public buildings are air conditioned it didn't even dawn on me to ask if the hotel was air conditioned. I really thought that the room, particularly the floor could have been much cleaner, both upon my arrival and during the week daily clean up. The toilet in my room, 413, was not working properly upon my arrival and although it was repaired promptly upon my making the desk aware of it, it really never quite worked entirely properly. The flushing mechanism only worked part of the time. Also, for the bulk of my stay the hotels outside phone access was unavailable. Not having a cellular phone that worked in the UK, this was fairly inconvenient. Other than that the staff was very helpful and courteous." (2427374)

    The location is great; it is very scenic and convenient to restaurants and our office in Nailsea.

    I thought that the room could have been cleaner; both when I arrived and through out the stay.
