    "I stay in hotels all over the world on a regular basis. I appreciate that your rates are cheap however that does not mean that you should settle for sub standard service or surroundings." (108959411)

    on the first night we stayed in a room with a broken window frame. this meant that the noise from the busy road could be heard all night! On evening two we were moved to another room this room not only had issues of clenliness but also had NO bulbs in any of the main room lights, no batteries in the TV remote control, no toilet rolls. your manager had to bring the missing bits up to us because his staff were unable to make BASIC checks in the room!! on the third night we had a REGGAE perty going on below our room with thumping bass. When you have been working all day long and wish to sleep this is not the way to relax your customers!

    "Overall, it was ok for an overnight stay, and is great value for money but woudn't stay there for more than a couple of nights to be honest. Nevertheless, I would go back!" (108177517)

    The bed was comfortable, there was an iron, ironing board and hairdryer which we didn't know the room would provide. The bathroom was in fair condition.

    The bathroom: the door had a broken lock, tiles were missing and the pressure of the shower was terrible, not getting hot water even after waiting around half an hour. The bedroom: the ventilation could have been better, considering the room was for four adults. Cleanliness could have been improved.

    Check in guy was very helpful

    Poor menu, room smelt old and dusty, poor disabled access, no lift, their appeared to be vomit stains on the headboard

    Music in bar v loud. Uable to sleep well. Would have thought family with young children would have been situated in quieter room.

    Hotel located in fairly quiet area. Not too busy inside hoetl. Rooms have generous amount of space and interior. Good parking facilitis.

    On rare occasions staff not always attending to needs straight away. Advetised SKY TV is misleading.

    Clean, comfy bed, large room for the price, staff put right deficiencies when alerted

    No kettle, hairdryer didn't work, remote had no batteries

    started off well with a nice size room shower etc but

    on day 2 a cleaner had entered our room for a service whilst we were at work on a 16 hour shift, and had blown all the electrical sockets in the room leaving us with no power at all (and hadn't reported it to the hotel staff), we are looking after close protection / security for a high profile TV show and were disappointed when we finished work at midnight to find that we couldn't finish our paperwork, charge our security radio's for our team or even relax as we had to move all of our equipment and luggage one floor higher without the use of a lift or any offer of help from the track-suited night porter, and to smell that someone was smoking Marijuana on this new floor was very disturbing, by the time we had moved our belongings to the 'now' much smaller room it was 1am leaving us with approx 4 hours sleep before going back to work, to top it all off the manager was not informed that we wanted some sort of discount or remuneration for the inconvenience of having to move.

    Staff obligingly gave me a room change; were pleasant and professional;

    toilet seats not safe; wash basin broken; restaurant was closed - this had not been noted on my reservation; car park covered with litter;

    "absolutely appauling, didn't actually stay, booked out immediately" (107630301)

    the room was dirty, the side of one of the beds had a hole kicked in it, the chair was stained. The toilet seat was broken off and left on the floor, there were stains on the bathroom walls, to enable a light to work you had to hold the switch, if you let go it went off. when opening the window, somebody had left a pair of ladies pants on the window sill.
