    Lovely location, very quiet. Comfortable room, with iron AND ironing board!! Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Great breakfasts.

    the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay

    the room itself was very warm and having the window wide open made very little difference. not sure what could be done about this however. there were several broken tiles on the floor of the bathroom which could cause an injury and should be repaired.

    Great view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Gorgeous hotel and very romantic. There was a wedding there the same time I went to the hotel and the hotel was beautifully dressed. Great cooked breakfast - hot and tasty.

    We didn't stay long enough!

    "We'd like to stay at Leasowe Castle Hotel again if we could have our sea-view room in the castle section; on the side facing away from the wedding reception room; and preferably after the restoration to more appropriate and sympathetic decor is completed. It was apparently in progress, though we saw no signs of the work going on where we were." (97169726)

    Front part of building (the old castle is only about 1/4th of hotel) full of character and warmth; lovely grounds and seafront just outside the back door of hotel. Big bathtub with terrific water pressure for showering. Really nice staff. FOOD - Excellent sea bass and perfectly cooked fresh vegetables for dinner; nice breakfast buffet (with exceptions listed below). Nice wine list and 24-hour room service available.

    Ground floor wedding reception just below our third floor window about 50 feet away. Their windows and our windows needed to be open (warm weekend, no air-conditioning)combined with electric-amp live band music that continued until after 0100 meant no sleep for us! They could not move us because hotel was fully-booked. Golf course (also just below our window) grass was mown at 0600. The rest of the building is out of character - resembles a 1970-80s era hotel chain. Water damaged ceilings and carpets. Bathroom floor tiles full of grossly dirty grouting. FOOD - Horrible scrambled eggs (watery and tasteless) for breakfast; runny creme brulee dessert with over-burnt thick, hard surface.

    "I've seen a few negative comments on this hotel and to be fair I don't know where they come from. Of course the hallway might be creaky, of course there's exposed pipe in the stairwell - it's 600 years old! If you need a top structure stay at the big chain hotels. This hotel is nostalgic, the people are great, the area is beautiful and we'll be back everytime we're on Merseyside." (97235483)

    Very adequeate, nice room, clean, nice bathroom ensuite. Very functional hotel room.

    "Quiet surroundings, comfortable, attractive hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Evening meals and wine list reasonably priced, food and service good. Rooms are fine - we've stayed there several times, but they are a little shabby, some refurbishment needed, but nothing major. They all have irons and ironing boards." (97075392)

    Where it was situated by the sea overlooking golf course, local to family and the fact my child thought it was a castle, with suits of armour which made her happy.

    Think it was a bit tired looking could do with some updating.

    "The Hotel is reasonably small and very friendly. The evening meal taken in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Staff in restaurant were extremely helpful. Situated in a very quiet spot. Breakfast was buffet service which meant you could be as slow or as quick as you needed to be. Checkout was very efficient." (99334755)

    Room was clean and well presented, with a sea view as well as a view of the golf course. Wireless Internet accessa available in the room along with tea/coffee meaking facilities.

    "i thoughouly enjoyed my sta. the only problem was that it was situated quiet a distance from liverpool centre and it was very difficult to get back to after the liverpool match. overall however the hotel is very welcoming and i would definatly stay there again if i was ever in liverpool again" (99678998)

    I come with my elderly Mother, who always books room number 50. I always have a room between 41 & 47, and the views from both are superb.

    "Breakfast was good, buffet style. Staff very attentive. We had a glass of wine in the bar before going out and it wasn't very good. We noted this to the barmaid who immediately changed it by opening a new bottle, with no fuss whatsoever. All the staff were really friendly" (99330868)
