    "Would not recommend and would not stay again" (108198673)

    TV not working when I mentioned it I was told that they were switching over to digital and only had BBC1 or foreign channels, when I complained and said I wanted to cancel the rest of my book they told me I would have to pay a cacellation charge for the following night. They offered pay per view movies for free as a compensation but only after i protested vigorously.

    Service was good

    Bathroom had not been cleaned properly, bins had not been emptied, the shampoo dispenser was empty....TV had limited channels.....basic things were not very good.

    location is excellent, continental breakfast has nice pastries and a reasonable price

    The "cab" the hotel ordered for us for the return trip to liverpool street cost one third more than the cab we used on the way o the hotel, nobody told us up front that a "private company" would be called instead of a regular cab. We felt taken advantage of.

    Pleasant staff in a well located hotel near to the British Museum. A good night's sleep was had.

    Great location Not too expensive Charming building Staff were very helpful

    Only 5 free TV stations to watch & three were in German. Fire alarm malfunction. Would have had breakfast at hotel, but far too expensive. No fridge or safe.

    "Value for money, proving you get what you pay for. Very handy for us as we were seeing a show at the Dominion Theatre. I would stay at this hotel again but only on an overnight basis. More than 1 night I would need a bigger room and better facilities." (108830822)

    Excellent shower.

    Mattress, grossly uncomfortable and in need of urgent replacement. Carpet in very poor condition with tears. broken Bath Panel.

    Clean

    - Room was just by the reception lift and quite noisy (probably got the worst room in the hotel). Not good as I was staying the night before an exam. - Half of the TV channel didn't work. - I was asked to pay £5 to use the internet wifi connection. - Check out: I left like I was interrupting staff conversation at check out.

    wasnt able to check in until after 4pm, i arrived at 2pm when you are menat to be able to check in but room wasnt ready

    it was clean and comfortale and the desk staff helpful

    the kitchen staff do not know how to cook an English breakfast. They cooked it in the microwave and it must be fried.

    Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Excellent and convenient location, right in West End. Good Value. Good value breakfast, £5 for full english

    Standard Double and Twin rooms are compact. Suites make bedrooms a decent size.

    no air conditioning, bath panel full of holes, shower head sprayed water everywhere, lampshades all broken, general tv channels not properly tuned, lift antiquated hot and cramped

    Very nice and helpful staff. Pleasant and quiet room. Hotel near to the tube which was very good.

    No breakfast included in the price. The "Communication Fee" (tv, internet etc) and the inability to just have regular television in the room.

    the reception stuf in the naxt day morning is moew nice .....

    the reception stuff is not welcome. when i ask some peroson to find where is location by phone, he was tired to answer and said just take taxi. and when i finish check-in he didn't help me to move my 25kg luggage to 3 stairs but help the previous lady move small bag ~~ what a service ~

    Great location. Very clean and well kept. Flexible breakfast times to dine.

    Lighting was'nt so convenient for two people in the evening as both bedroom and en-suite were synchronised. Room a bit cramped.

    Good central location. Pleasant and courteous staff. Functional room with all that I required (if not a little small).

    Shower subject to leakage onto the bathroom floor but not over-excessively and was manageable.

    Well situated - clean - cheap

    They changed our first room as there was a barrier against the window. The corner one they gave us was much better but still a bit dirty and light bulbs not working. Staff was extremely helpful during the day. GREAT location for us and okay breakfast.

    Dirt, some construction noise, an altercation in the lobby with a guest and staff member.

    Bathroom in slightly shabby state. Bedside shelf falling off. Door handle on bathroom 104 falling off. Shower leaked onto floor.
