    Friendly helpful owners and very attentive staff.

    Shared bathroom - which didn't turn out to be a problem - but prefer en-suire facilities. I think other rooms have en-suite but we were a late booking and got last room

    "I had booked a twin room for me and my elderly mother. Unfortunately due to a mix up we were given a double bed. The bike race was on this weekend so owners were unable to give us an alternative room. This said, the bed arrangement was fine and the owners were very apologetic knocking £9 off the total bill (much appreciated when on the grand scheme of things it was not a big deal)" (107930418)

    Very helpful with downstairs room for my disabled husband. Room was spotless with nice white crisp bed linen.

    Attractive Victorian house. Welcoming check in, with helpful run down of local facilities and attractions. Good breakfast. Convenient location, close to town's main street, but secluded in its own large garden.

    The staff at Wellwood House were very friendly and the breakfast was great!

    I would have preferred a shower rather than just a bath but it wasn't an issue.

    Wellwood House is an amazing, almost gothic looking house tucked away in its own grounds just a few minutes from the main street of Pitlochry. The hotel is welcoming and cosy, and the staff friendly and engaging, offering information without being prompted, and generally making you feel right at home. The rooms are well decorated and spacious, and when we presented ourselves for breakfast and told the staff we were a vegetarian and vegan, they went out of their way to accomodate us. Can definitely recommend to to others.

    The hotel was very comfortable and the staff welcoming and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the hotel itself had retained most of the original features of a Victorian mansion, which added to its charm.

    "The stay was pleasant with the guest house having an honesty bar where you helped yourself to drinks and took note to what you drank and it was added to the final bill - an unusual but very welcome touch. The place was clean with ample parking for guests, and the breakfast was served promptly and with friendly staff. We will defiately stay again." (3305402338)

    Very clean and cosy and great location.

    The only minus point about the hotel was the fact that we had to share a bathroom - very old fashioned and not something we are used to in this day and age!! However, I believe that there are en-suite rooms available - something I would definately prefer in the future!!

    It was a beautifully maintained old house with loads of character and style.

    Very friendly welcome good location in a very nice house with beautiful garden. Good breakfast.

    Room very small for 2 people.New shower was good but could do with an little console to put a wash bag on.

    "Very pleasant even though only one night. Comfortable guests' lounge which we did not use. Owner very helpful - encouraged children to be quiet by promise of bread to feed the ducks the next morning! Forthcoming with tourist info. Personally showed us to our rooms.     Very clean and decor restrained floral in keeping with period nature of the house - full of character but bright and sparkling - not musty and creaky.

    Our rooms were not ensuite but most are.

    Room very small with inadequate hanging space and no surfaces on which to put personal possesssions.Journey to room from reception is tortuous.
