    The staff were excellent, very attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. We had an evening meal while we were ther and it was excellent and good value for money as were the drinks. The room was very comfortable and large enough for our needs.

    The decor could have done with a pick-me-up, but nothing too bad. No shower in the en-suite that we had.

    "You get what you pay for. This wasn't The Ritz but it was a good, honest hotel, providing a decent night's stay at a decent price. Could do with a lick of paint, a shower fitting in the bathroom and a toilet that's the same colour as the restof the bathroom suite, but on the whole, a good night's stay at a fair price."     Excellent welcome from friendly staff. Decent breakfast and good evening meal, although portions were on the large side

    Poor decor in rooms, hard bed. Felt like the hotel had see better days.

    Peter - the desck clerck, bar tender and waiter was funny and helpful. He went well beyond the expectations of any one of these roles.

    Room was up three sets of stairs with no one to help with bagage. No internet. Rooms need serious up dating

    Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable as were beds. Plenty of hot water and soft clean towels available. Good tea making facilities given in room. More breakfast offered than I could possibly eat! No single supplement was charged for my daughter in a single room.

    Mould in the shower cubicle was the only down point

    Value for money

    You got what you paid for - but the sealant was coming away from the bath, no shower, the drawers were falling apart, the cooked breakfast was very average.

    Bright, airy function room for breakfast. Good view from one of our three rooms. Bed clean and comfortable. Room was warm. Staff friendly.

    Hotel needs upgrading. Wallpaper loose on stairway. Our rooms, and bathroom in my room, at least, haven't been decorated for many years. Layer of dust on socket in my room. No tv in my room. Not much selection in breakfast cereals. Cooked breakfast not generous in comparison with many B&Bs I have been in. At forty pounds per person, the Bridge of Tilt is expensive for what it offers. One of our party had better value in the B&B next door for twenty five pounds.

    The staff were very good and helpful. The food improved as our stay continued

    I had to ask that our bathroom be cleaned and the carpet hoovered. The room was quite basic and the decor dated. Supply of complimentary toiletries would be an advantage. The hotel generally needs up-dating and a television in the lounge bar would be a true advantage. Would not consider staying again unless improvements are made

    Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpfull, breakfast fine.

    TV not working in bedroom (did not matter too much as only there for one night and off to a wedding. Room over heated came back from wedding about 12.45am radiator belting out heat and no way to turn it off Had to jeep windows wide open all night to keep room at decent temperature. Surprised at this considering the cost of heating these days.

    "The general feel of the hotel was very dated,when we walked in it seemed dark and unwelcoming.The room we were allocatted was very dated and in need of a coat of paint there was no shower,toiletries were not issued and we had a view over the fire escape not a scottish hillside.when we aked for a change of room this was done."     "The hotel provided excellent value for money. I am already planning to use it again and have recommended it to others. As a stopover between the Midlands where I live and the far north of Scotland whence I was travelling the hotel fitted the bill perfectly." (97152769)

    "We had an excellent stay at this hotel and would certainly return. It is in a beautiful location plenty of places within walking distance in the village also there is the castle to visit. Our room was very clean with a lovely view. It is a very old building nothing modern about it lots of old features." (97291472)

    Good friendly atmosphere. Very clean. The manager is new to this hotel and is doing a very good job.

    The food quality is quite good (excellent breakfast) In the evening quantity of the deserts leaves a little to be desired.

    the stairs were a bit hard we observed some of the older guests were having difficulties a lift would be a great help

    "The staff was the best aspect of the visit; they were very friendly, found me a power plug converter, and were very pleasant when I checked out rather early in the morning. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, but could have used some updating. If a chip or dent on a floorboard bothers you, don't stay here. That sort of thing doesn't much matter to me, especially when travelling alone, so I was pleased overall. I'd stay there again in similar circumstances.     Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, good-sized and quiet room.

    The hotel could use some maintenance; the fixtures and decor have seen a few too many tourist seasons.

    Blair Atholl is nice

    Very old fashioned, was clean but evrything was very tired. Carpet in the bathroom. Was a toilet smell in the coridor outside my room

    Ideal location for the interests of the area

    Difficult to get back in to the hotel at 9pm(!) as the keys didn't work very well and no-one was answering the door. It took a lot of work to get the key to perform.
