    "Advice to other guests : 1) Bring your own soap and anti bacterial wipes ( luckily I DID) 2) Come well stocked with snacks and fruit you have no guarantee of breakfast 3) Take your own shower cap or prepare to be drenched 4) To pre empt the following question I would recommend this hotel with the above caveats" (97492132)

    The room was spotlessly clean - well done to the chamber staff. The linen was crisp and clean and the bed was comfortable. The cooling/heating unit worked a treat.

    FIVE COMMENTS : 1) There were no no smoking signs in the corridors so people smoked in them ! Yuk ! 2) There was no shower cap in the bathroom 3) The lighting was poor - more general lighting needed in rooms 4) The Dove soap dispensers are impossible to use and squeeze without a great deal of force (and I am not old or infirm). What this means is you will have guests ( and children) wandering around with unclean hands - and leaving NASTY GERMS without restraint on handles, doors, elevator buttons, bannisters. E Coli, Novovirus, the list is endless...........For heavens sake make it easy for guests to employ good hygiene habits and user/child friendly piston pump dispensers or even good old fashioned but accessible soap cakes. 5) Last but NOT LEAST we had to leave the hotel hungry and without breakfast !! The dining room was full, there were guests queuing in the lounge areas waiting for seats. We were on business and COULD NOT WAIT. Unfortunately, due to Sunday trading we could not find anything open until after 10 either !!

    Very Clean Hotel, great family room with loads of space even with additional double sofa bed. Every need catered for and even notices advising of additional items available on request ie: tooth brush/paste etc. Tea and coffee in room and more provided when requested. Friendly staff nothing too much hassle. Great breakfast, very laid back comfortable hotel.

    Our 13yr old complained the sofa bed was not very comfortable, but hey thats what teenagers do best!!

    Very pleasant, knowledgeable, proactive staff. Good comfortable rooms and (continental) breakfast. Reasonable proximity to an excellent Thai restaurant in Warwick.

    "Having stayed at lots of travel lodges etc over the years this one was one of the best. Staff extremely helpful. One point of note would be to provide crispbread for breakfast instead of bread etc for those of us that are on diets." (97151641)

    Visit once a year for Summer Concert, always try to stay with you. It is the best value for money around, and our favourite is the relaxed (not too early) leisurely breakfast.

    Convenient for the Concert if we have to walk (which we usually do!)

    having to wait 20mins a reception to buy a mars bar !!! that really annoyed me .... was told I would have to go to the back of the long booking in queue.. I left it and drove to sainsbury's.. much cheaper and quicker !!!

    The open plan layout of this hotel is appealing, the decor is bright and clean. Car parking was available and free. Restaurant next to the hotel, snacks and drinks readily available.

    Apart from the porridge pot, there was limited eating options especially in Warwick town centre which was like a ghost town in the evening

    near the M40 motorway hence the window needed to be shut. To close the window was NOT a straightforward procedure, the instructions needed to be more visible.

    "Noise from the nearby M40 motorway was intrusive if the window was opened but there was no other means of ventilation. The room was small with limited stowage space. There was no bath and it was not possible to adjust the shower to make it cool enough to use comfortably. The hotel was clean, had on-site parking and offered self-service breakfast. The location was too far from the centre of Warwick for it to be a comfortable walking distance. We have found other budget hotels may be cheaper, to have bigger, better equipped rooms and to provide a bath as well as a shower." (3305045638)

    the room and hotel has a high cleanliness standard throughout,

    insuffecent tea facility for one person for overnite stop never mind two people ?We felt that only one person was dealing with the breakfast bar and back kitchen work hence wait for tray and then cutlery these were our only fault with hotel oterwise perfect thanks.
