    "Rustig en heel plezierig. Ook heel gunstig gelegen als tussenstop langs de snelweg." (97975465)

    Zeer gastvrije ontvangst en bediening Er werd op een hele goede manier rekening gehouden met de gehandicapte reiziger. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam bij het zoeken van toeristische plaatsen in Coventry.

    Erg beperkte menukaart.

    "Having stayed at Campanile leicester, earlier this year, and having previously stayed at a number of differing accomadations, we found Campanile Leicester a refreshing oasis, a place we will most certainly be staying at again as we have family in Leicester. Taking the above into consideration we felt that Campanile Coventry would be an equal oasis of delight, this was unfortunately not the case. It would be fair to say that we plan to travel through Europe Next year and it is like that we may stay at the Campanile group Hotels.....Depending largely upon whether they are like Leicester :-) or Coventry :-(. In terms of booking on line this is difficult as one is not in a postion to fully appreciate the condition of a booked room untill arriving at your destination....therefore in answer to your question re: would we book on line again....Yes, But with reservation!! We have been advised that in 2010 the is to be a possible rebuild on the Coventry site, with this in mind it would be unfair to say we would not return, perhaps a slight makeover in the meantime."     As the Hotel/Motel is in two seperate halves, It would be unfair to comment as a whole. The reception Restaurant/Breakfast area was Okay, clean and tidy, the Manager appeared to be constantly cleaning and polishing showing a desire to impress visitors at the reception area, Sadly the rooms was tardy with ground in stains on the carpet, the paintwork was tatty and the general appearance was scruffy.

    convenient location unpretentious lone travellers made to feel welcome

    noisy party placed in room next to me when hotel was almost empty so no need payment taken from credit card at start of stay even though it was meant to just be a pre-authorization

    dinner, good menu not well cooked, at time of booking was told disabled room available, was not on arrival, access to rooms difficult should have been mentioned when i booked.

    Staff helpful and efficient Good location

    Bathroom in state of disrepair. Bedroom very small and basic. Very limited facilities in bedroom (no hairdryer, trouser press etc)

    needed decorating in the bedrooms, plus free wifi access would be a very important point, the payment for the wifi facility is very expensive.

    Evening meal took 25 minutes for a burger & mash potato, meat burnt and potato's rock hard on arrival, try mac Donalds over the road!

    Clean rooms with adequate facilities, good breakfast, hospitality of morning staff excellent staff. Very good value for money. Parking facility very useful.

    Check in staff in a hurry to close and leave although arrived within opening times. Shower in bathroom lacks power.

    "I can't and will not complain because at the end of the day it was excellent value for money, most hotels i checked in the area were over double if not treble the price, the place was clean and the people were pleasant, and the food was very good, so overall it was excellent value for money."     It was clean, comfortable and of a good standard

    Our rooms were on the ground floor and we were somewhat disturbed by a noisy group above us who partied until the early hours. Not your fault, just a fact of life.

    Comfortable bed with a duvet and not blankets - excellent. Bathroom very clean and lovely quality fresh towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

    It was further away from the Ricoh Stadium than we had hoped.

    the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and spacious.

    there was only one plug socket in the room which was a bit of an inconvienence but not a big problem.

    "Generally the accommodation was acceptable for an overnight stay. The website advertised free internet access. When I telephoned to confirm I was told that it was not free but would only cost £5.00 for 24hours connection, when I actually arrived it cost me £10.00 for 24hr access. Accurate information before I booked would have been appreciated. With many hotels now offering free internet access this can be a deciding factor on hotel choice." (97049659)

    The staff were pleasant and helpful and the evening bar meal was to an acceptable standard.

    Although clean the room decor was tired and could do with updating. The bathroom was particularliy in need of some work.

    "The Campanile Hotel is in a quiet part of Coventry on the edge of the city but has an ASDA, McDonalds and a lovely pub called The Mountpleasant Inn over the road which serves great food. It was very close to where we were attending a seminar so was very central for our purposes. I would recommend this hotel for quick stays but not really for family holidays or a romantic break. It is functional and comfortable but lacks a real ambience and it is on the outskirts of the city. Having said that, the hotel was very clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful which is very important. I will be staying there again on my next business trip to Coventry." (97332558)

    The staff at the Campanile was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable which made for a relaxing stay.

    There was only one plug in the room and that was for the television so you had to unplug the tv to use a phone charger etc.
