    Centrally located - all usual amenities in room and throughout hotel

    very tired looking decor in room - appallingly uncomfortable small bed

    Overall very good value, will certainly use the hotel again and recommend to family and friends.

    Only one small point, is there supposed to be a remote for the television in each room, because 605 never had one.

    clean most important very easy to reach, close to coventry university. Very large room confortable beds very close to city center nice staff personnal on restaurant close parking

    Unconfortale bath tub freezing in our room at evening ( one back double window missign) unable to fix or help heating variety of food on breakfeast and dinner no hot chocolate for my dauther (sorry we don't like tea:-)) found prices quite expensive no indoor secure parking

    Value for money. Cleanliness of room and facilities. Good response by staff when I phoned with a query before my stay.

    Check-in staff member did not smile and was not welcoming. The heating was not on that night and it was very cold. When I requested it to be turned on, I was told that my request would be made to the duty manager. It was not turned on and I did not receive any feedback to my complaint. I received a phone call 4 days before my stay from a member of staff. As the time was not convenient, she said she would call me back in 30 minutes. I never did receive a call back and had to call the hotel 2 days later to make sure my booking was still ok.

    cheap, and easy to find

    night club right next to the hotel so we could hear the drunk people coming out of the club at 3am, loads of shouting so if your a light sleeper not good.

    "Its ok if you want an overnight stay for local clubs etc but not ideal otherwise basically central for most things staff were good shame other things arent up to scratch" (108656099)

    good helpful check in staff reasonably located for shops nightlife etc

    Chinese tourists were blocking reception area at one point if there was a fire there be chaos also breakfast was npot of good standard plates were small and they couldnt cope with demand from a coach party tables were not cleared and laid properly people were using dishes for food as plates were small

    Location, booking online was simple, and car parking discount was generousBed was comfortable and room was clean. Good value for money.

    Bathroom facilities were not brilliant as water did not drain for a long while after showering and cold tap pipes screached.

    "it was a very pleasant stay,very central so it was easy to catch the bus in the morning..........nice view from the window..........overall staying in Britannia hotel was a very nice experience!" (107892161)

    the entrance, the reception area and the coridors look very nice also the room was nice.....i didn't have a breakfast so i can't comment about the service or the restaurant, but i assume they are nice.....

    i think it needs some improvement from the outside because its in the city centre it would be nice if the fasade is revamped and the windows cleaner from the outside....also it feels a bit stuffy while walking in the coridors and in the bedroom and the walls in the coridors need painting.........

    Central Location

    Receptionist could not find the booking took 30 min to book in. She gave me a double room as an upgrade but I had to ring down as there was no towels. On turning on the jaccuzi bath there was a strong smell of drains a loud splutter and a load of debris came out of the nosels

    no parking available on site, pay to park 5 minute walk away, depending on your arrival time parking can cost £10

    (1) Fantastic central location. (2) Very inexpensive. (3) I went to the cinema in the evening and no food outlets were open when I came out. Despite the hotel bar being shut the polite and helpful man at reception made me a sandwich in response to my pleas of hunger! Hugely appreciated! (4) A very nice, inexpensive breakfast.

    The decor was not pristine (it's an older hotel), but it was clean and well maintained and everything worked, so it would be churlish to complain considering how cheap the hotel was compared to a big chain hotel.

    requst to have toilet mended ignored so asked to be moved to another room. That room had blocked sink so informed desk staff. Sink not cleared so had to ask again hours later.Didn't stay at hotel to be a plumber.

    The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpfull and accommodating

    From the outside I was shocked at how dirty the building is and how tatty the net curtains looked. They are grey thin & cheap. The room had a musty smell. The full english is abit expensive.

    "the only saving grace was that the receptionist had the good nature to draw out our thoughts about the meal and realised we were far form impressed and volunteered refunding my money i had already paid for the meal," (107473073)

    the room had a bath which is good because i like baths the room was exceedingly cheap

    awful experience in the restaurant, dirty table cloth, crumbs on table, someone elses wine glass on the table which had white wine in the bottom of it, dirty side plate with crumbs on it, appauling waitress service with no offer of drinks, at one point my mother had to get up and go looking for the waitress to get our main course plates cleared and dessert menu shown to us, revolting lobster bisque which was inedible due to the high salt content, i physically could not eat it and so re-ordered the prawns, however the chef clearly can't cook properly because the sauce in the chicken main course was the same in salt content although i did eat most of the chicken, the veg (cauliflour & Brocoli) was cooked to death and appeared yellow and mushy,the whole restaurant experience was disgusting, i would stay again because the room was so cheap but i would not venture anywhere near the restauarant again. one point about the room, when you flushed the toilet the water jetted over the top of the rim of the toilet hence the floor was constantly wet with toilet water, nice!

    "We had a thoroughly good stay as in a great location especially next door to the sports centre and the parking wasnt too far away and didnt cause a problem, especially for my 80 year old Mum, as i was able to drop her and the children off right by the hotel while I went and parked and the same on our departure."     I think the outside of the hotel gives a bad impression as it need a good lick of paint and I actually thought, "oh my god" - but very surprised when we walked into the reception area and the rooms were lovely - Bit noisy in the evening when we went to bed as people laughing and shouting next door to us and in the corridoor and went on til past midnight, - hence had to get up at 6.30am as the children were in a Tramploine competition at the AT7 centre so felt i didnt have much sleep - Maybe a slight suggestion about putting a notice up on each floor about keeping the noise down after 11 would be a good idea.

    Please fix your heating system and your televeision remote control. These made me quite uncomfortable throughout. And the response was slower than i expected!

    "I cannot recommend this hotel. This however was a single and maybe bad experience concerning my room. The condition of the dining facilities however did not change during the entire stay." (107619315)

    The staff could not provide for a single room where nobody hasn't smoked, yet. The management at the reservation was very flexible and provided me with an upgrade of no cost. After I cancelled the remainder of my stay, the money was recredited to my credit card without any hassle.

    The staff did not really seem to care what was going on in the hotel. The heating made tapping noises in my room. I reported this 2 times, result nil. The cold water tab did not work. The heating could not be regulated. Either I had to open the window - which was very noisy - or I had to close the window - which was very hot. Either way I could not sleep well. Since I sat exams in Warwick university the stay was far from comfortable. Furthermore the dining facilities were dirty, the staff did not really pay attention to food, tidyness and adequate supply of food and dishes.

    Very helpful and pleasant staff, clean, Good Breakfast, good location

    Run down condition of room, shower didn't work properly, toilet difficult to flush, hole and plaster missing in bathroom ceiling, TV remote broken. For that type of Hotel to have to pay extra to park a car in a public car park in this day and age is not good, I would really expect to at least get a discounted rate on parking. Most Hotels of this size do have parking as part of the cost.
