    Owners were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very convenient for shops, port and lovely park across the road. Room was well equipped and adequate for my needs. Very quiet. Breakfast was good and you ordered in advance with time you would like it at.

    Only one bad point which was minor but the waste bin in the room hadn't been emptyed after the previous guest.

    Friendly welcome, lifts to and from ferry port, offered better room for return visit, good breakfast

    1st visit room was rather cramped and bathroom was a bit inadequate but this was sorted out on 2nd visit

    - lovely staff - cleanliness - closeness to ferry and local amenities - lovely room - well decorated and modern - En-suite family room that accommodated 4 of us - Delicious breakfast

    - headboards of beds on window wall = a bit of traffic noise through the night. Would prefer to sleep with heads against solid walls.

    B&B was clean, nice and comfortable. Owner was friendly and served a nice breakfast. The decor was lovely with period features and nice updates. Pleased with our experience and the closest you could get for the ferry.

    Nothing bad with our stay.

    "Lovely place, terrific people. The "family sleeping room" is beautiful - detail work on the ceiling and crown moulding are worth seeing. Breakfast was cooked to order, and delicious." (107866202)

    Owner went out of her way to help us. I was traveling w/ my parents, who are in their late seventies. The owner sent a taxi for us to the train station, and then personally drove us to the ferry. We arrived after 10 P.M., and she even made tea and toast for us. Really delightful all around.

    Warm and friendly welcome, lovely big room with gorgeous views of the sea and to the isles. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Tasty breakfast with Denby crockery!!!

    this bed and breakfast was everything and more that its discription said on the web site. the staff were friendly and most helpfull and the breakfast was excellent .

Staff bend over backwards to be as helpful as possible and the hotel had a real family atmostphere. I havent slept the well in years, rooms were very clean and very comfortable.     Warm and friendly reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
