    "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay being the first in a hotel as a wheelchair user. I would certainly recommend this hotel to disabled guests. The views were superb, it was quiet and the rooms were more than comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. My son could even take his laptop into the reception area and have free wi-fi access!" (108308917)

    As a wheelchair abled guest I was very pleased with the facilities overall. The breakfast was superb and even though the disabled accommodation was being refurbished, the room that I was given was plenty big enough for me to move around in my wheelchair.

    The only criticism I have is that the ramp down to the car park led to gravel that my wheelchair could not get over. It was only about a foot in length though to more stable ground and the management were on hand to help if needed.

    "Great place to overnight - the only spoiler was the sheer amount of flying bugs in the room because of the gap between door and doorframe." (108226391)

    Breakfast was fabulous, free range chicken around the yard too. Own front door, can come and go without disturbing anybody. Fantastic bed, more comfortable than my own bed at home.

    Big gaps between the door and doorframe lets all kinds of bugs in at night. Probably chilly in winter because of this.

    Beautiful surrounding , nice room , and a perfect performance of the staff in many ways , great breakfast , I asked for the location of my rented vechical and the even brought us there really amazing time at the stables Wireless internet worked perfect in room nr 7

    Good location. Friendly staff and good size family room. Great English breakfast.Very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again when next in the area. Only needed the weather to match up!!

    "We enjoyed the few days at The Stables and would recommend it to others, with a caveat that if food is not being provided on site, guests will need to drive a short distance to get dinner (lots of places within a short drive). The large rooms in the motel set up lend themselves to eating in the room, so we found it useful having some plates and cutlery with us. The breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and cooked breakfast prepared very efficiently to order, and served by the proprietor." (108440492)

    Motel style of rooms was convenient for loading and unloading between car excursions. Room was spacious and clean. Bath with plenty of hot water. Excellent breakfast, with a very polite and helpful proprietor. Location very convenient for Snowdonia and the coast.

    Shower weak, although there was loads of hot water for a welcome bath after an ascent of Snowdon. The restaurant was not serving meals due to a family health concern, and no other restaurant within walking distance - A fridge and microwave would be useful extras.

    Our room was upgraded without asking to one called the farm. This had a large lounge/dining kitchen with leather sofas and tv etc. Very large and tasty breakfast meant that we didn't eat again until the evening. Very friendly staff.

    Nearest pub 2km away so to far to walk, and onsite bar was closed, but we had a fridge so were able to stock up on wine.

    Excellent, friendly and relaxed. Staff were great. It was a brilliant location. Just great!

    A pity there was no food available except for breakfast time. This was the main drawback for us.

    Nice quiet area. Excellent breakfast.

    No telephone in room - apparently, it had been taken out because previous clients had run up a big bill and had not paid. We were not told about this until we checked out and enquired.

    It was very quiet. The Food was good. The accommodation was reasonably comfortable.

    The bed in our first bedroom was very uncomfortable. It creaked everytime we turned over, so I did not sleep very well the first night,also the toilet leaked onto the floor. However, after complaining the next morning we were moved to another room where the bed was better.

    "I was slightly apprehensive because of the availabilty and cheapness of the hotel on a Bank Holiday weekend when everywhere else appeared to be booked up but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a spacious, more than adaquate room. There was absolutely nothing we could fault except for the wine list (we were celebrating and wanted something special) the staff were lovely and very child friendly with my 6 year old. I would have been quite happy to have paid far more for the room we were given!" (99464374)

    Staff willingly helped with the many problems we encountered.

    The beds were awful; poor mattresses laying directly on slats. Worst beds ever. Bugs in room. Meals awful and overpriced

    "The hotel is ok, the rooms clean and comfortable enough. We only stayed here for one night and I wouldn't like to stay much longer.     "The dampness and the grotty image gave the impression that everything was dirty. Smells were ineffectively masked by chemical air freshners - another health hazard. We had a young baby with us and I could not let him down on the floor at all. We would have refused to stay only we were on a stop over for the ferry at Holyhead and had arrived too late to start looking elsewhere as the children needed to sleep." (3305012028)

    The location

    The standard was grotty. The reception and rooms gave the general impression that they were dirty and overdue a make over. Everything was a big disappointment.
