    "The owners were very friendly, extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome and comfartable. The room had all the facilities you needed, including ironing facilities, hairdryer and a well stocked tea and coffee facility. The breakfast choice was excellent as well as nicely presented and very enjoyable. Would reccomend them to everybody. The accomadition is easy to find, a bus ride away to the town centre as well as having plenty of local facilities. Anyone visiting the NEC would find it easy to drive to. Many thanks to our host, will see you next time we stay in Birmingham." (97122199)

    "On arrival the proprieters were extremely friendly and helpful. They showed us to our rooms and gave us advice on which buses we needed to catch to go into town. Later they booked us a taxi for our evening trip. In the morning breakfast was very pleasant and nicly cooked. It was a very homely B&B." (97897097)

    It was very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly

    There was a lot of damp in our bathroom, this was pointed out by the proprieter and he did appologise.

    Hospitality

    Beds were extremely unconfortable. As a married couple I was expecting a double bed, not 2 singles.

    "The owners were brilliant and really helpfull. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed and an abundance of towels in the bathroom. The system for breakfast selection was good with lots of choice and the breakfast itself was clean looking (not with lots of burnt bits from the bottom of the pan) and most important really good and tasty."     "we found the guest house easy to find, traveling from the nec centre. when we arrived we were welcomed by Marlene who was very welcoming and gave us some good recomendations for eating out. The room was clean and spacious. We had a very nice full english breakfast. we only stopped one night but found marlene and michael very pleasant and helpful. we would certainly stop at this guest house again if visting birmingham. it was like home from home."     The room was clean and the owners friendly. Good breadfast. We booked a double room, but was placed in a family room containing a double bed and two singles. The room was at the back of the house and quiet. We had a good night's sleep. Clean and airy bathroom with all the necessary.

    The windows in the room could not open. The heaters were set a bit too warm and we would have enjoyed some fresh air. We did manage to turn down the heating.

    "Overall good stay. Choice of places to have a decent evening meal nearby wasn't that great. People running guest house very friendly and chatty which was nice after a long drive. Situated on a very busy main road, but had a back room so wasn't affected by this. Did have a dog, who was barking on occasion as well.     Sky TV in the room a definate bonus. Very friendly chatty couple.

    Bathroom fittings and general furnishing slightly dated. Shower head fixed and not high enough for myself. Nowhere within walking distance to have a decent evening meal.

    The staff were lovely and the room was really nice (clean and homely). Breakfast was also really nice and there was lots of choice.

    One very minor thing was that the hotel faces a major A road and I had a room at the front. The traffic was quite noisy at times - I didn't have trouble sleeping, but I would imagine other people might.

    The overall decoration needs updating as yellow baths and floral wallpaper is abit out but maybe it is my age.

    "The couple were perfect hosts, the hotel provided some good information in regards to local Amenities it would have been useful to have the local bus timetable, and maybe a cheap local taxi numbers. For the price paid we have no major issues, we were aware of the parking issue and for us did not propose any problems." (99513162)

    The hotel host were a lovely very polite and friendly made us feel very welcome.

    Room seemed cold and central heating did not seem to come on, did try to turn this up as we were only there for 1 night didnt want to cause any hassle.

    "Would like to have known the bathroom was seperate, would have booked the double which has ensuite shower room. This is one of the friendliest and cleanest guest houses I have stayed in.     the only disadavantage staying in the single room was that the bathroom for the room was accross the corridor
