    Corrective action by the receptionist.To resolve booking problem.See below.The corrective action was more than satisfactory.I was allocated two double rooms.

    On arrival I found that my request for a twin bed room was unavailable. Dispite my phoning to confirm my requiements before departure and having them confirmed as avaiable.

    Good breakfast, comfortable bed, staff polite and friendly

    Desk clerk had no record of our booking (same thing happened last year !!) Noisy boy racers all night until 3am. Not enough towels and when there was they were not clean, room not very warm. Whilst breakfast was excellent, evening meals were appalling. Drinks very expensive.

    Breakfast was good staff very good Reception very good and helpful

    On first night waited 35-minutes to be served for food, 2nd night was fine Bathroom was not very clean tiles joints black in places When arriving in room bits of wedding paper on floor. 2nd night used glases from night before were not removed

    "The walk from our room to reception was a long way could do with being able to cut accross the garden the gardens were beautifull. If wanting to have a small party or wedding this would be a lovely hotel" (107450021)

    The rooms were very clean the staff at breakfast in the morning were very pleasant.

    One of the beds did not have an over blanket on the mattress. Not enough pillows when I phoned reception a little abrupt that I had not found them in the draws. As only staying 1 night did not need to look in the draws.

    Adequate for the purpose of an overnight stay in easy reach of the M 42.

    No bottled water provided in the room. Car parking charge - an unwelcome imposition in the first place - has been increased from £5 as advised in booking information to £7; in fairness only £5 was charged as the Ramada acknowledged the error, but we won't be staying there again.

    The staff were very courteous and helpful

    There was a couple of large Xmas parties going on in the function rooms, and although I had no trouble, when some of the party goers left the hotel they were very loud outside reception and in the car park and I was woken several times. I didnt complain as they were having a great time, and good luck to them, but some attempt from the hotel staff to keep the noise down would have been appreciated.

    Staff were friendly and as helpful and efficient as possible. Room was clean and kept to a good standard each day. Heating not working on arrival but extremely swift service to repair.

    Shower only - no bath; teas and coffees not topped up and only enough tea for either night or morning, not both. Had to queue for breakfast when needed to get away to work.

    Our friends Grandson was rushed into Great Ormond Street Hospital and we had to cancel the 2 rooms. Unfortuanately we didnt cancel until 16:00hrs, and we were made to pay the full amount. This in my opinion is very harsh.

    I found the staff efficient and courtious. they were helpful and cheerfull. The wedding was a great floorshow!!

    well, maybe there could be a few more teabags, but it is not a real complaint.

    Service, hotel breakfast everything was excellent except the evening meals. Breakfast and room was first class.

    Evening meals - meat was tough (unedible) especially as meals were not cheap. We had a party of 11 and 3 sent their meal back, the waitress was fantastic, but I think they require a better chef for the evening meals. Not many vegetarian options either.

    "Overall the 1 night stay was satisfatory. The room was well specified and modern. On the down side the cost of the 1 night stay was a little on the high side at £189. the evening meal was poor. The Al A Carte menu was £22 for which a very average meal was received. Not enough healthy options and too expensive for the money.     Good clean tidy room with modern TV. Nice bathroom with very good shower.

    "The lift didn't work efficiently and my 85 year old mum had to climb stairs. Our room didn't have a radiator on the wall, it had pipes and brackets but no radiator!!! It was arctic in the room! We had to queue for breakfast, nobody noted our room number, we could have just walked in off the street!! We were taken to a table with the last diner's debris on. We had to ask for coffee & toast, it was total chaos, the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing but rushing around all the same." (97910730)

    "We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet overnight stay where the only adverse comment we would make is that the restaurant prices were not reflected in the quality and presentation of our dinner which fell a little short of expectations" (97342812)

    Very clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly accommodating staff particularly the maitress d' who was very attentive in the dining room/restaurant

    "I would have definatly liked to have been made aware about the TV as I was in the room for a good three hours before I went out and ended up listening to my own IPOD. I can not put my finger on it but the rooms were very standard but that may be due to the price. I was on ground floor and did note on my booking that I was a smoker but was not informed if it was allowed for me to open the doors and go out outside through these doors or designated places only and if so where they were. There was also a problem with the the online booking it requested the guests name which I completed yet the entire booking was put in the guests name which I corrected on checking in then the express book out arrived with all of the guests name and address on so again had to be corrected so I was unable to use the express process (so was pointless process for myself)" (97277333)

    Cleanliness of the room and that it was met my needs.

    The TV choice I only required music on but was not the easiest to find as all main BBC radios not available only have talk sport or local radio or pay to listen to a cd. No satalite music channels available (most unusual from other hotels I have stayed in)Also had to ask for towels which also thought was bad on a fresh room.

    The Location is excellent, the hotel is just at the end of the high street, very easy access to a great shopping area.

    The Main Bar and Hall ways had a strange smell, a lttle bit musty. But the Bedrooms were great, very clean, no problems there.

    The rooms themselves were clean and furbished to a good standard- but need the opportunity of being able to sleep would be helpful

    We had two rooms - one a smoker and the other a non smoker - the room I was put in room 202 was like walking into a sauna it so hot - the heating was on and I couldn't turn it off or open the window very much. I immediately asked if I could be moved which was done with grace and professionalism - my colleague in the smoking room 206. When we arrived at the hotel and saw a welcome sign for the celebrations going on at the hotel that evening the first thing I said was no doubt this will end in tears. From 11:15 my colleague had to call down to reception 4 times to ask them to ask the taxis to stop hooting each time they arrived for a ride - and then at 11.45 pm the first disturbance started outside underneath the hotel window which resulted in 11 police officers arriving in 3 modes of transport. The alcoholic fuelled guests from the event at your hotel then had to be spoken to and dealt with seperately all of which took place under the window - the language, shouting, screaming and upset went on until 2:30 am when finally the last of the crowd was disbursed. Again we called down to ask reception if they could please ask them to move on - in the morning it was apparent that several other guests in the same vicinity also were disburbed and upset by the nights events. As a courtesy we were refunded on one of our rooms and your staff did everything they could to offer their apologies etc. however that didn't take away that we had the most disturbed night and then had to go onto work at the NEC exhibition all day on the Sunday feeling completely wrecked and worn out by the lack of sleep. We feel the top management of the hotel chain should think carefully about what is most important, events or their guests having the best opportunity of having a good nights sleep and good experience at your hotel.

    "We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates a quiet location in the middle of an upmarket shopping centre. The staff were exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. Security was good. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the food, although we only ate breakfast, was delicious. The rooms had 'secret service' which we had not seen before. This allows discrete room service by the use of a dumb waiter-good idea! It was really good value and we will definitely return!" (97698288)

    Great location in the middle of Solihull. Providing very good value accommodation which exceeded our expectations. Quiet. Excellent pillows.

    "The hotel was a rushed choice due to the flooding and the original hotel closer to Stratford. For our purposes a Ramada is normally what you pay for, but great value for money" (97421319)

    The accommodation was booked as a base for sightseeing. For that purpose it was excellent. Staff were friendly and the accommodation was very ood for our needs at the time.
