    Convenient, clean and comfortable Free internet connection

    Very noisy next to DLR. Had to use ear plugs. It would have been good to have Wi-Fi in the room rather than having to sit in the foyer.

    "Brilliant and enjoyable" (107487553)

    Speed of booking in, politeness of staff, made to feel like valued customers despite being only a one night stay. Comfort, size and cleanliness of rooms plus everything we could possibly need. Availability of food throughout afternoon enabling us to eat a great pizza before we went out early evening.

    Convenient location for my meetings in Canary Wharf and transpotation links.

    At check-in my reservation could note easily be recovered from the system, this took some time. No mini bar available, to get a beer I had to order through room service.

    La plomberie fonctionne: il y a de l'eau chaude quand on en a besoin. Le personnel est serviable et attentionné.

    pas assez d'ascenseurs, trop d'attente; les escaliers sont plus pratiques, mais difficiles à trouver.

    staff in the restaurant chatting amongest themselves before aknowledging us waiting to pay then gave me my change all in 50p´s with no apology

    Staff friendly

    booked an executive deluxe room and paid the extra for breakfast as expected although our companions were offered an upgrade including breakfast for £30 considerably cheaper than ours and recieved a much much better room, our room was in need of a refit the bathroom sink would not empty therefore we had to leave the same water in there all weekend the room was dirty especially the bathroom, ironing board was useless the tv was well out of date. The only reason this was a so called double executive room was because it had water jets in the bath.

    Reception desk very helpful in finding address of our son's office through multimap. Husband requested a teapot at breakfast, this was so appreciated. The house keeping very high standard, foyer glass/brass doors imaculate.

    Staff, facilities etc very good.

    Noise from dlr trains not acceptible. Causing no sleep for 2 nights for my husband.Unable to control heat in room despite air-conditioning controls.

    "Nice hotel & staff did expect a better class of room." (107655838)

    The room was clean and smelt nice. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome,

    We upgraded our room and i wasnt very impressed at all. We had a rickety 4 poster bed, a dining table and empty cabinet that just looked lost in the room. We found having no mini bar in the room very strange.

    "Since price is not our first consideration, but overall value for our money more important to us, we will not be coming back to your hotel even though it is local to our family. Your staff attitude is lazy and slovenly and the general appearance of the hotel ugly and second rate." (107692127)

    Can not think of any particularly good points.

    No air-con and no hot water on our first night! Very uncomfortable beds. Ugly curtains, carpets, decor. Very dirty tables and unpleasant food at breakfast, Very poor staff in restaurant.

    "I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I know that several other guests were unhappy with the overall experience." (107515098)

    None, this is without doubt the worse Hotel I have ever stayed in and does not deserve a 4 star status

    Hotel was dirty, rooms needed refurbishing, food was freezing cold and indedible, staff were surly and unhelpful, bath in the room had been damaged and patched up with tape and on the morning we left it appeared as if someone had been sick in the lift.

    Good location for Docklands.

    Not warned that the marathon was on. Had to get up at 0630 hrs to move the car out of garage. No refund of parking charges despite the inconvenience. Little knowledge by staff of alternative parking arrangements and costs.

    A good location in the city.

    The room was very basic with no covers or cushions on the beds. looked like a basic travelodge room. Hotel looked like it needed refurbishing throughout as carpets and furnishings looked 'grubby'. No carparking for guests without an additional payment which was not made clear at time of booking.

    Asked for a special room (not upgrade) as it was my husband's birthday and we were given a very satisfactory room on 10th floor. Everything worked, was clean and comfortable.

    Car park prices a little over the top.

    Good service, great location and excellent view from room.

    Heating control did not function properly so room was too hot because windows can't be opened. Shower head was not up to the job - it twisted to the side due to pressure of water, but water heat and pressure was fine.

    Staff were very good and very attentive, cleanliness of room exceptional - no dust on skirtings, light fittings, back of TV etc (I used to manage luxury hotels, and I am very particular.

    Decor was 'tired' (although no more than the Ritz before refurbishment) - worn bath taps, chipped furniture (the back of one of the dining chairs in the suite was actually fractured. Windows needed cleaning. Annoying that when I came to leave the car park I had to go back to the hotel to pay, I expected to pay by credit card at the barrier.

    Good location for Canary Wharf, underground and DLR. Large lounge with wi-fi access.

    Cracked floor tiles prevented bathroom door closing. High powered hot water but low powered cold required micro adjustment of non-thermostatic shower and bath temperatures.Room temperature adjustment inoperative resulting in 25 degrees C in November. Hairdryer unusable because of way short cable routed through drawer.Poor quality tea and coffee in room.

    i have totally enjoyed my stsy at the Britannia Int Hotel, and would strongly recommend it to my friends and family. We came down for a show my sister and I and this totally rounded off our perfect time. Thank you

    "They did take the breakfast from our bill and was told that next time email them and we would have a better room. The beds let the room down and the staff seamed down. Reception were on the ball. If they get better beds and improved the breakfast experience i would return." (107144590)

    The room and hotel was clean and the towels were fresh. The room windows out side needed a good clean as you could not see that well out of them.

    The beds were hard and uncomfortable, the breakfast was not very appetising, the hash browns were burnt and the scambled egg was bad. The restaurant staff were not very helpful. There was know clean tables in the restaurant for the next guest (8am) but we did notice a improvement as time went on.

    Staff very helpful. Location is very good for canary wharf - we could walk to some good bars etc. We got a free upgrade to a big room.

    The hotel was faded grandure - we did get good value for money because we got a cheap rate and a big room, but if I had paid full price for the room that we booked I would have been disappointed as it was all old furniture and the jacuzi was lame.

    "we were looking forwarded to staying at the Brittania Hotel we did enjoy the wedding reception that was held in the hotel, but felt very let down by the whole experience and came away vowing never to stay in a Brittania hotel again. we have stayed in hotels across the world and this dosen't compare positively with any of those."     room was very tired, hairdryer not working, iron just leaked water, room temp not easy to maintain. car park extortionate for guests. food was almost inedible its presentation was very poor and the restaurant staff had no interest in their customers.

    Short journey from the City, better accommodation than available closer to the City. Spacious room. Excellent view from room.

    Decor horrible! Choice of TV channels very limited. Noise from DLR might disturb light sleepers.

    "This hotel is way too expensive for the quality of the hotel. The rooms are tired and in need of decoration. Most of the hotel is in need of decoration. The bar area is minute and feels like you are walking into an enclosed cage. The bar staff are surly. This hotel should be classed as a 2 star and charge 70 per night, not 200.     The room was very tired, in need of decoration. Tiny bathroom with 'gold' taps that had hardly any 'gold' left on them.
