    Small, clean, friendly hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was small but had all the necessary facilities.

    Had to wait a long time for evening meal to be served. Limited choice of menu and decided lack of fresh vegetables. Evening meal was expensive for what was available

    Not a great deal apart from car parking

    I understand that my accomodaton was a single room booking, but it looked as if it was a converted broom cupboard' it was a joke.

    "Extremely clean, well maintained accommodation with cheerful, helpful, smartly dressed staff. The food quality (even though we only stopped for breakfast) was excellent with named jams/marmalade etc., sausages that were not cut price and what certainly looked like free range eggs all expertly cooked. Also we were not hassled to leave our room at the dot of 11.00am on Sunday when we checked out." (3304977219)

    "All in all a satisfactory stay and reasonably priced. It was only 15 minutes drive to The Belfry where I was playing golf - the reason for my stay. Th eTV in my room broke down. I mentioned it to a mamber of staff before going in to dinner. When I went back to my room after dinner it had been replaced. Good service." (3305143972)

    All facilities were high quality, the staff were all courteous and efficient. Th e one dinner I had was very good and breakfasts more than adequate.

    Only the parking. There was ample space in the rear courtyard at the rear, but it would be improved if ther was access into the hotel from the car park. The walk from there round to the front entrance, carrying luggage would be inconvenient in bad weather.

    "Perfectly adequate for a one night stay but surprised at size of room - uncomfortable bed - am actually quite a warm person but was very glad of all covers and blankets as the room was quite cold - I'm usually the one opening the window!" (2950829)

    Warm friendly staff, and the rooms were beautifully individually decorated with your own co-ordinated teddy bear to cuddle up with!!!

    Breakfast was only served between 7.30 and 8.30, I think this should be extended.

    "I would have liked our room to have been nearer the entrance but it was ideal for us apart from that. Also it was quite a hike from the carpark to the front entrance with our bags. An entrance at the rear, if possible, would be an advantage." (2374000)

    Quiet village with several good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking at rear.

    Room was quite small. Restaurant prices seemed expensive.

    Very clean, a good sized room, plenty of tea and coffee in room. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

    The flow from the shower kept altering from a steady shower to a trickle.

    Excellent location for the Tamworth Snowdome. Clean, comfortable rooms.

    Ticking clock in the bedroom - we locked it in the bathroom to get some peace!

    "The hotel was a bigger than I percieved from the information set out on the internet. The directions to the hotel were excellent. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open, however our overall stay was very enjoyable." (1445280)
