    "Good, comfortable stay." (107322756)

    Quiet, room was comfortable and clean, supplied iron and ironing board and hairdryers, had coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

    Tissues weren't replaced in the room when they ran out. Service for food in the bar was slow. Self service food for breakfast and in the restaurant was not hot. Lifts were wobbly and one lift was broken.

    Perfect location for visiting a concert at the Apollo. Close to Shopping centres and pubs. Safe neighborhood and the windows can be opened.

    not the newest building from outside. the beds could be replaced. Could have a little more TV-Stations.

    Service was very good The staff were competent and friendly. The lounge and bar areas were good

    The bed must be one of the worst I've ever slept in. The mattress felt as though there were no springs. The carpets in the corridors were stained.

    Food in grill restaurant was very good standard

    Street lighting on stairway approach to hotel entrance on first floor not switched on at night. As a solo traveller this caused me great concern. The 'roof garden' area in front of the first floor entrance also led me to feel unsafe, although at least the lights were on here. I also tried the ground floor entrance, walking past the sports club but similarly as a solo traveller I did not feel safe. I think perhaps there is another entrance at the side but I did not know about that until late in my stay and did not try it. Perhaps a good idea to advise solo travellers which is the best entrance to use when it is dark.

    Very close to Heathrow. Close to the venue we were going to and quick and easy access into Central London.

    Uncomfortable bed. The square pillows are a ridiculous shape for sleeping on. Room was too hot and we were unable to open window fully to freshen room.

    "We had a good weekend and the hotel was well placed for getting into London as there are some excellent transport links nearby. The facilities in our room were adequate." (107421821)

    The hotel was really well situated for our needs and close to public transport making it easy to get about. The bed was comfortable and the bedding warm. Although there was a busy road nearby, we could not hear the traffic.

    The sink in the bathroom smelled unpleasantly of drains and we had to keep the plug in when it was not in use. The provision of a shower hat would have been useful. The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced as they are uneven and appear to be coming unstuck....we felt this was quite dangerous. There were facilities to make a drink in our room but only two pots of milk were provided each day and although we were given some delicious shortbread bicuits on the day of arrival, these were never replaced once eaten..... considering the cost of a room per night we felt that this was very mean.

    Staff at breakfast were over keen to re-assign table to another guest. My place was reallocated to someone else while I in between my cereal and cooked courses.

    This was the second time for me in this hotel. In my opinion it has been good value for the money.

    Excellent room, service and food. Good location for accessing the centre of London on nearby underground.

    Pleasant helpful staff. Ease of booking. Public areas very well maintained/of a high standard.

    Long wait to check in and out. Not able to eat breakfast in the restaurant as only my daughter (15) wanted to eat. We didn't realise we couldn't have continental breakfast in the restaurant (it wasn't made clear).

    Good location

    On the 9th floor at the end of a very long corridor and only 4 lifts, I was quite worried when I went down to reception in the morning that some people were going to have 'lift rage'! The internet was far too expensive, considering that even pubs offer free internet access and the mini bar was extorinate.

    the internet booking was charged on my account twice. When calling and asking the reason, the response was that I'd need to send a mail to Novotel Account Dep. Have done this 14OCT but no response whatsoever received !?

    "rubbish. i have stayed at other novotels in the past with and without my children and i have to say this was the worst stay at london west. i will not be staying there again. " (97601815)

    i originally booked as a single person but had to change to a family room at the last minute. i found the room to be shabby in comparison to other stays i had at novotel in the past. although it is a conference centre i thought the lack of facilties for children was non existant. the restaurant would not servve half portions for children as to which we ended up eating elsewhere where the food was more affordable and more paletable to my childrens taste.

    I foolishly left my debit card at reception. I missed the card as soon as I had returned to base and immediately phoned security at the Novatel. They had retained the card, sent me an email within the hour about ways of my recovering it, and sent it back to me by secure post within two days. Excellent service for which I am very grateful.

    "Despite receiving a confirmation and printing it out, when my friends arrived at Novotel at 2.00 pm they were advised that the booking did not exist. They were shown all the reference numbers from Active etc etc but that still proved fruitless. Eventually my friends had to book yet another room and pay for it despite my specifically saying to Active that I wanted to pay in advance and all my credit card details being taken. I am now waiting for my credit card statement to ensure we were not charged twice. Overall, a very worrying situation and your response would be appreciated." (97919205)

    "When booking this room, without knowing I was double-booked. I was only given one booking confirmation number at the time. Two days before our stay the hotel rang to say I had two rooms booked with two separate conf numbers. I then had to phone the agency as the hotel would not take my word that I only needed one room. This was eventually sorted out but if the hotel had not rang to check I would have ended up paying for two rooms on the day!" (97753069)

    It was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and polite. There was a mix up with my booking which was promptly resolved.

    I couldn't work out how to watch a film so I gave up.

I was disapointed with our room as far as it was supposed to be a superior one and it was not much differnt to our friends who had a standard.the food in the restaurant was excellent. the staff in the bar area were great. we would deffinately stay here again, just in a standard room."     it was clean, staff in the bar were excellent. food in the restaurant was superb. its location to the underground is perfect.

    we paid extra for a room and all we got was a wardrobe and a safe, our friends stayed in the standard room and it was hardly any different to ours. total waist of money we coud have spent else were.

    "Of the hotels I have had to stay, travelling as a solo female, this accommodation was very nice and comfortable, clean, although I did notice recipts from a previous guest on the floor. Room service was excellent, as was the morning coffee and quality breakfast." (97269598)

    I was happy with the room service, very quick. Quality of the food, was of a good standard, although I would have like to see the food covered and warmer.
