    Very Clean and Excellent Food quiet nights, which was what i wanted.

    Staff, i feel, could have made a better effort and made me feel slightly unwelcome.

    Staff freindliness and service was very good . Food was served and presented hot, and was of a very good quality.

    No bad points were encountered , parking was excellent .

    The hotel is well situated, with very pleasant staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable with evrything required for a short break. The restaurant offered a good and varied menu at reasonable prices.

    The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. The proprietor and staff were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

    "Apart from the wet patch/leak mentioned above. The hotel was basic but adequate for a short stay and priced accordingly. Its location is somewhat remote, being at least 20-30 mins drive from Holyhead along a windy road. If you are looking for something cheap and don't mind a bit of a trek from the A55 or Holyhead then it is quite satisfactory." (107662805)

    Nice little friendly hotel. Staff were very amiable and willing to serve. The place was clean and well priced for a no thrills budget hotel.

    The room was clean and everything worked as it should. There was however, a musty smell in the room when I arrived. I was suspicious that there was some damp but couldn't find any. On closer inspection I discovered that the floor/carpet by the door and to the left of the radiator was soaking wet. It was clear that there was a leak from the radiator or one of the pipes. I reported this to the landlady when checking out and she said that a workman was due around that day anyway and that she would mention the problem to him. There was shampoo but no soap provided in the bathroom.

    "Staff very unfriedly. No value for money whatsoever. Tvs without remote controls. We tried to concel one night but we could only stay for 2 nights. There would have been a concellation fee of 25% for each night so we chose to stay 1 night and pay for 2 because we did not have time to book somwhere else. Not ideal at all." (97247289)

    "I received a very warm welcome from the staff who were all very pleasant and more than happy to advise on local amenities, walks and attractions. The bar and restaurant areas were very clean and the decor was very pleasing. Food was excellent, a good menu, all freshly cooked and mostly very reasonable in price although I thought the starters were expensive. All in all a most enjoyable stay, I was very well looked after and look forward to returning." (97097948)

    A lovely single room with all the facilities necessary. Very clean and tidy.

    Clean comfortable accommodation with all the facilities you could ask for (hairdryder, beverage making facilities, etc. In addition the food in the dining room was extremely good (we managed to eat too much)and reasonably priced. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

    Everything was absolutely fine.

    "The hotel was generally OK and would not have been as dispointing if it had been priced lower. It was clean but the carpet seemed dusty under the bed and chair. The TV was extremely old but in working order. Some of the signs at the entrance regarding children and damages seemed a little unwelcoming.     Very dated decor, small cramped room, ancient TV with no remote control. Late night noise from bar, early morning noise from plumbing.

    "This is a lovely hotel. Very clean and the owners no longer smoke in the premises. Village is friendly with good walks. The food was really good, particularly the steaks and fish dishes. (Vegetable selection could be wider and less cooked) The decor is slightly dated but that lends to the appeal. Our room (number 5) was above the bar and was obviously noisy until all go to bed. The owners do try to make sure it is quiet for 11pm. All other rooms would be fine." (99672917)
