    "Comfortable." (108699680)

    Quiet location. Easy travel to work from hotel in the morning, avoiding traffic jams.

    Electronic key did not work. Had to return to reception to get it re-scanned. Breakfast is included in price, but I have to leave early in the morning, before breakfast.

    Convenient online booking process The hotel had the required facilities Staff were able to help with my enquiries

    Limited number of sockets in the room. As a business user I need to be able to charge laptop, phone, etc. duirng my stay. However, on request the hotel were able to provide an extension lead.

    The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the service they offered was excellent. The staff are an asset to the hotel.

    The bathroom had no radiator, there was only a small heater high up on the ceiling, which did not heat the room. The shower would only work if you put it about 5 ft from the ground!! The shower also was either freezing or boiling with no inbetween. The bedroom was very old with stains on the floor, the bed covers were very fadded and overall I was very disapointed with the room - it was more the sort of standard of a travel lodge and not a 3 star hotel!!

    Poor staffing in restaurant, had to wait a considerable time for someone to come and see us to a table. Very loud music at breakfast, very strange!

    Friendly staff

    Poor decor, terrible organisation, we had to ask for clean towels every day as they removed the used ones, no or very little tea or coffee, they tried to charge us for wifi when its advertised as free. Its also advertised as being recently refurbed? We ate in the resterant on the first night and the vegetables in the vegetable lasagne proved very elusive, we could not find them.

    "This hotel is in a perfect location for ease of reaching motorways but being in a quiet location. The rooms are a fair size but suffer from old style decor and carpets which are in need of modernisation. Ideal for overnight but probably wouldnt recommend it for a longer stay. The train track runs directly behind the rooms which is quite noisy. TV on the floor isnt very practical. Value for money is good and restaurant meals were fairly priced." (97181837)

    Good location. Ample parking spaces. Rooms fair size and clean. Bar comfortable and restuarant meals reasonably priced and pleasant.

    Rooms had very dated decor, particularly wardrobes, train noise was disturbing at night. Carpets well worn.

    "I would happily stay at this hotel again. The staff were very welcoming and very kind. The food was good and the room was comfortable. This is the best hotel i've stayed in for some considerable time." (97036449)

    I was very impressed with this hotel and ts staff.

    The only slight grumble would be that the room wasn't dusted as well as it might have been but that's my only gripe.

    the bar & restaurant have really nice contempoary feel about them. All of the staff are extermelly friendly and cant do enough to help

    The bathrooms are a little tired - and there are bits of mould around the tiles - also the room I stayed in this time had a step just out of the bath then another to the floor - rather dangerous I thin. The heating in the rooms is not great small electric fire and not turned on before arrival so the room was freezing

    "It was difficult to get from the hotel to the function as the Ship Canal was in the way, which i didn't realise, and the taxi firms had no idea of where we wanted to go even though it was only 5 miles away. THe hotel staff, however, were really nice and helpful." (99888335)

    Peace and quiet - away from anything like a wedding happening elsewhere in the hotel.

    "I have stayed at this hotel many times in previous years. The bar area has drastically changed to modern decor. I personnally preferred the old style but thats an age thing. The meals were very nice and well presented. I have booked to stay again this week." (97076092)

    The hotel is close to the bussiness premises I visited and the M6. The staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable.

    The bar/restaurant was clean and well priced, the staff were friendly and helpful.

    The standard of the rooms was poor, the carpets were tired, there were cig burns in the duvet despite it being a no smoking room, the doors didn't fell secure and the wifi despite being free had to be renewed at reception every 60mins. But worst of all my room window was 20ft away from the railway line with a highspeed train zipping past evey 30mins which woke me up around 3am.
