    "This is a really good cheap hotel if you are attending an event at the NEC and want to avoid the high costs of the large hotels in the area. It is clean and the breakfats was v good!" (108091310)

    The staff were excellent and very helpful.

    "If the price was half the 75 I had to pay - I would say it is a not a bad place to stay as the staff are very friendly. However for the money you pay you should expected something more..." (97700308)

    It is a very nice family hotel. It is like being invited home not staying in a hotel.

    The toilet and bathroom were outside my room so I had to lock and unlock my room to go to toilet... Dinner and breakfast were awful...

    Good clean and tidy. Freindly hepfull staff. Good Valu for money.

    Room No 11 had a very cramped en-suite with a very small wash basen . The bed was comfortable but lacked a duvet in place of sheets.

    The lack of space and the need for re-decoration and a good cleaning of the room.

    The Staff were friendly and the hotel was close to the NEC

    The owner knew his hotel was not as he would like it but he made you very welcome and the food was very good with hearty portions

    The only complaint would be that the hotel is a bit stayed and requires some modernisation, but the owner has this in hand

    "Easy to find of the motorway and well located for the NEC. its not the ritz but it,s ok for an overnight if visiting the NEC, food is basic but ok. you get what you pay for." (97167577)

    I liked it's location, easy to find once leaving the motorway. And just down the road from the NEC.

    General condition of room was poor and a lot of noise from other rooms. the hotel generally was ok and very friendly staff but the food was very basic, breakfast was reasonoble.

    "This is the first time I have booked a hotel online & didn't know what to expect. We were warmly greeted by a thoroughly nice chap who explained all we needed to know. We had a twin room with en-suite which was a little compact but well presented with tea & coffee making facility, TV, telephone etc. We didn't have a chance to sample the dinner menu but the full english went down a treat in the morning.     The bathroom en-suite was very clean, same with the room. The staffs were friendly. We have enjoyed our cooked breakfast.

    The room itself was very cold. The basin is sooo tiny and water spills when basin is being used. I hate wet flooring.

    The bed was comfortable

    The room was offered as a twin, with the option of extra beds if required. there is no way you could have fited an extra toothbruch in let alone another bed. Could hear everything going on in bedroom overhead.

    "We were attending an event at the NEC and wanted a budget. The hotel itself was OK for what we were looking for, but it is a residential area and there are no bars, restaurants or stores close by. The bus into B'ham was an hour long, but worth the trip. THe NEC was a little over a mile away, which was not too bad, with a bus stop near the hotel." (97190873)

    Raj, the propieter, was great! The breakfast was good and pretty quick. The showers were also small, but the water was hot.

    The accomidation was small, we had to upgrade to larger rooms. The hotel also had a dunny smell...

    All the staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean

    The hotel is very shabby and in need of refurbishment, the rooms are very small and the bathroom is far too small for a person of average build so anybody slightly overweight would find it imposible to use

    Staff were very helpful and eager to please. The proximity to the NEC is a great advantage.

    Limited Vegen breakfast options, however, I'm sure if I had asked, the kitchen would have come up with something.

    "We had a good stay albeit for one night only. The welcoming was warm and a nice touch was mince pies on our arrival. (we were there just before Chirstmas) The full English breakfast was excellant, hot and plenty of it. The sitting areas which included a lounge and a bar were cosy with a fire in the flounge - lovely as it was freezing weather.. Overall a good stay. We were visiting the NEC which was only a short taxi ride away." (3304756461)

    The welcome was lovely. The room had everything you could need and the overall general ambience was excelent too.

    It can not be helped but the smell of smoking in the bedroom (no 10 ) was overpowering. I am an ex smoker so it is not really a complaint but an observation!

    "The staff were so welcoming and friendly, it really was a lovely enjoyable stay. I felt very comfortable staying here. I wanted a hotel as close to the NEC as possible, and it really is close, as the hotel brochure stated. The evening meal and breakfast was cooked lovely.     The sheets were clean and the towels were fluffy. The lounge area was quite nice, although the lights were dim!

    The room was worn, shabby and dirty in the corners. There was a dank smell throughout the hotel
