    there is a security door which leads to the rooms and the reception give you a code to get in but the latch of the lock is cellotape in the open position which kind of defeats the purpose.

    Bad smell in bathroom-musty, sewage like. Kettle had to be held down on stand to boil.Very noisy other guests.No spare pillows in the room had to walk outside to reception.

    About a fifteen minute walk into Manchester - so for the price - a good location. Bathrooms clean and in good working order. Good room heating user controllable. Secure car park - left car after checking out to continue exploring city. Would use again if in town.

    The gotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    I felt the room was too small and the price i paid was too much for the room. There should have been extra pillows in the room.

    "The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin , no frills. if i was staying in manchester for a longer period of time i would have to think about a perhaps more comfortable hotel with more seating areas. other than that it does the job." (108440705)

    Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The hotel bar needed to be a bit more comfortable, maybe a couple of sofas.Just a few more soft furnishings to make you want to stay in the bar area. The bar closed at 11.00 oclock which was fair enough, but say for example you had come back late to the hotel and fancied a night cap,you couldn't have one.

    Breakfast was good but not included in price.

    Room poor on ground floor. Bath chipped. Pillows very small - only 1 each. Not secure entry to ground floor. Very disappointed. For £70 a night we expected more.

    Very happy with the room and hotel as a whole.

    Having to give your credit card details 3 times....once on the internet, once on checking in and again at check out? In these times of credit card fraud, this is not good.

    Staff very helpful and good. Food was excellent.

    Took 3 goes to get a good room. 1st roomwas for a disabled person and the bathroom (bath area) had broken tiles. 2nd room was aboulutely stinking of vomit still a stain on the carpet where previous occupant had vomited. 3rd room was good. Outside stair way and path could do withg a good clean.

    Nice sized room, quiet. Buffet part of breakfast was good, the cooked not so good.

    Very noisy toilet flush. Phone to reception not working, Only 2 tea bags for a family room

    A nice clean hotel & well located. Staff very helpful and attentive. Food good and adequate.

    Not keen on all female/all male parties. A friend had to complain to security about noise that had been going on intermittently all nigt till 0530. This group of hotels should be more "up-market" than that, although I am aware it is difficult to discriminate when someone makes a booking.

    Receptionist on arrival was friendly

    Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Cobwebs/smut abovethe heater on the wall The restaurant did not open until about 7:45pm (Very late) this was due to cleaning the cooker. Surely this should have been sortted out earlier or after the restaurant closed.

    "This hotel is excellent if visiting Old Trafford. It is approx 35/40 mins walk to the stadium. For the money paid this hotel offers a great place to rest your head. Would definitely stay again!" (107534663)

    The room was clean and fesh - the bed quite soft but comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was lovely. A huge selection offered.

    i thought this was an excellent hotel for what we was looking for. £6 taxi fair from train station to hotel, we felt was reasonable. The walk to old trafford stadium was short. The staff were polite, even offering to order us a taxi.

    Nice bed, room, bathroom, secure parking,

    Breakfast very expensive. Only one extra pillow in the room - would of been nice to have 2, but everything else was very good.
