    This hotel is really good value for money. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Even though the hotel is situated on a busy London street our room was really quiet; a little oasis of calm.

    Good hotel with great staff who are always helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

    Out of your control when you had no power for the first night. Maybe for the future, have a few flashlights available ?

    Friendly staff who did everything to address queries. Clean crisp bedding and excellent breakfast

    Very poor shower that we could not use due to the restricted headroom. The air conditioning didn't go below 18degrees and the window space was too small to make any difference.

    Everything worked, everything was clean, nothing was more complicated than it needed to be. It's a good central location and is easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    Central location, extremely friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice and clean bathroom

    The wall were a little thin and though the singing next door wasn't bawdy, it was audible. It's a very warm building.

    cleaning staff very very niosy early morning seemed to be very excessive banging of doors etc disapionted with this seemed to be no consideration for people havin a lay in !! relaxing etc

    lift very dirty, too dirty, and toilets with broken flushes. sink in the ensuite bathroom poorly drained, water stagnant.

    Only bad point was difficulty obtaining correct temperature of shower. Either too hot or too cold!

    Room was dirty with very little natural light. No extractor fan in bathroom. Dried in blood on bedding, bathroom curtain and bathroom wall. Exposed wires behind bedside cabinet. TV didn't work. 2 inch gap at bottom of door to the room. Breakfast food was poor too - things undercooked and overcooked and no semi skimmed milk. Left all of these comments with hotel and have asked for feedback from manager - still waiting and that was a week ago.

    The staff were very helpful and friendly.Hotel's location was great. Our room was very clean-as was the bathroom.We thought it was very good value.

    The appearance of your lift does not give a good impression (and yet the hotel couldn't function properly if it was out of action to be cleaned I know).Our room felt quite small and the shower wasn't great.

    Room was clean

    Room was very small, en-suit was tiny and difficult to move about in. Wireless access was poorly described in the advertisement.

I usually book into Travel Lodge's however, i thought i would try something different, although the hotel staff and atmosphere was much friendlier,the breakfast really was excellent, however, the basics like the old divan bed with the base covered in a stapled on cover, let it down" (107902176)

    The bed was extremely uncomfortable, moved and rocked everytime I turned over. The hairdryer provided in the draw didn't work

    Very clean, reception courteous, spacious room.

    Was embarrassed at breakfast by being asked which room I was in. It was not necessary to ask so openly, it made me feel like I was being questioned as to whether or not I was a guest.

    Got moved to another room when complained my room was too hot, although would have been better if it was possible to primarily turn off the heating. If that wasn't possible I would have liked to be able to open a window however this wasn't possible. And worst case scenario would have opted for air conditioning, but my remote for that was broken!

    As above. Changing rooms because of the heat was a hassle, as had already spent one night in the first room. There was no hot water for a shower.

    in a great area

    I made my booking online, but when i got to the hotel, they didn't have a record of it..which i found not only upsetting but very disappointing.

    Easy booking, good saving on cost. Food simple but ample and reasonable price.

    Room tired looking, booking out process long due to front of desk staff. Unable to open windows in room for ventilation, no curtain on window of bathroom though the glass was frosted - still it was overlooked by other hotel rooms.

    The location was very good, the hotel was nice and clean and the personal friendly. The breakfast was really good.

    Our room was situated on the street side and was a bit noisy. The shower was not very practical.

    Lighting in room inadequate, failed to program first day wake-up call correctly. Instructions for TV and TV channels not found in the room.
