    "A great, value for money, base for exploring London for a couple of days." (108564120)

    Friendly and helpful staff, very accomodating. Great location. Clean and tidy.

    Very small bathroom, built into the room like a space capsule. Breakfast area not large enough to accomodate all guests, so large queues waiting for breakfast was not condusive to a relaxed Sunday morning breaky.

    the only downside was a little bit noisy on main road,but it is only 5mins from victoria station so to be expected.

    When we when arrived at our hotel after a long train journey we were informed that our room had been canceled due to to our credit card rejecting the booking.They had sent us an e-mail 8 days before, as were were already out of the country with no internet we were unable to reply so they had canceled our room. They were able to get us a room at the hotel next door for one night and then we had four nights with our original hotel

    A very friendly hotel with good service and breakfast. Everything seemed modern and in good working order.

    I was surprised on checking in to be asked for an extra deposit against any extra expenditure. I have never encountered this before and found it confusing and unnecessary, as did other guests.

    Gutes 3-Sterne Hotel, freundlich und sauber. Zufriedenstellendes Frühstücksbuffet.Klimatisierte Bar. Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Victoria Station.

    Frühstücksraum etwas zu klein, am Wochenende Wartezeiten möglich.

    We felt that overall it was a nice place to stay. The breakfast was very good and so was the service by the staff each morning.

    The room was too small especially the ensuite facilities. Although they did do the job there was little room to move around.

    Clean and tidy, polite staff, great price for London

    Avoid rooms 600- as basement rooms with blinding security lights pointing into room all night and unable to leave windows open due to security concerns, no air conditioning, and under bar area so lots of noise till 1am

    Good economy hotel within walking distance of Apollo Hotel in a pleasant residential/small hotel area. Had a large family room for the four of us. The bathroom was a little small but very clean and recently refurbished.

    took several phone calls and two emails to get a credit card authorised from my dad, first email gave info requested but was not deemed satisfactory so second e-mail was required with more info, luckily my dad was at home but if he had been at work then auth would have not happened till later the night of check in.

    Bar area and breakfast were good and the hotel in general was clean and tidy.The hotel is in a good location with regards to transport and restaraunts

    The reception staff were in general very good with the exception of the young lady on Saturday 18th April who went to great pains to inform me she doesn't work in the bar and was rude,inhospitable and unfriendly.

    Nice and serviceminded staff in reception, bar and breakfast area!

    English breakfast is OK for most but when it comes to scrambled eggs there's room for improvement.

    "The hotelroom was clean and nice,and had good space for 3adults with luggage. We had a triple room underground and there was very little noise outside. The hotel was close to Victoria station where we travelled from all around in London. " (107564803)

    The hotel is handy to everything that is available in and around central London. Victoria station is a short distance away and the bus stops just outside the door. The tube is a block or two away in either direction.

    The room we had was small compared to other hotels we have stayed at.

    We wanted a budget hotel in London where we could stay after seeing Wicked at the Victoria Apollo. Sidney Hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from both the station and theatre. The room was clean with plenty of space for the the 4 single beds and cupboards. Booking in was very efficient and the buffet style breakfast was replenished regularly. The serving staff were friendly and helpful.

    The en-suite shower room was small and had a frosted glass door, which wasn't appreciated by teenage daughters! However, it had obviously recently been refurbished and was very clean - it was fine for a short stay.

    Very clean, our room accommodations were re-arranged but the staff was very gracious and allowed us to stay and not have to make an additional move to another room which was greatly appreciated.

    Realize London is expensive, was costly for a family, appreciated that breakfast was included that helped a lot.

    "The hotel was ideally situated for all our needs, with regards to transport, sites, restaurants, cafes and bars. The staff were very helpful and helped us plan our journey to one of the tourist attractions. Although only small it created a very nice atmosphere and was spotlessly clean. My children loved it as they had films, which can be booked for the night for a small charge. The only downside to the room was the bathroom was tiny, similar to the toilets on a train or aeroplane! That aside though,I would definetely recommend it, for cost, convenience and service." (97329820)

    It was ideally located for all amenities, it was clean and the staff we're very pleasant and helpful.

    The taxi service from the hotel was grossly over priced. The same journey back using a black cab was £10 cheaper. Bathroom was tiny.

    Only a ten minute walk from Victoria bus, rail and underground stations.

    Bathroom (more like airplane loo) very poor. Could be likened to a portaloo stuck in the corner of the room. Not enough room to turn around and shower would be difficult for anyone with a larger frame to fit into.

    "Didn't wake up feeling refreshed. Beds weren't that comfortable. Another of those hotels where the bedroom doors a slam shut, consequently just falling asleep and woken up by people coming in-not their fault, hotel should put doors on a slow release. Feeling exhausted at breakfast the following morning, I took a look round at other guests and no one looked refreshed. Apart from this, staff were helpful" (97056546)

    it wasn't even height of sunmmer but room was stuffy. Fan provided but no air conditioning

    buen desayuno,aunque hecho en falta algo de bolleria y mas variedad en los tipos de pan.

    que algun empleado del hotal hablara en español, pues muchos de los clientes que estaban en el hotel eran castellano parlantes.

    "Overall I would recommend this hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. Requests were answered promptly and cheerfully. Breakfast was great and the serving staff friendly and helpful. We had two quad rooms which were excellent for our family. There was a difference in the cleanliness of the two rooms and that is the only improvement I would suggest. However linens were clean and fresh and I did not feel uncomfortable. Pleasent stay and would repeat." (97970345)

    "Despite the small size of our hotel room (not unexpected) we truly enjoyed our stay at the Sidney Hotel. The staff was pleasant and efficient, the breakfast a substantial start to a full day of sightseeing, and the bed exceedingly comfortable. Location (an easy walk from the Victoria Station) and the full English breakfast were the selling points for us when booking; guests were a mix of tourists and business travelers.
