    "Persoonlijk vind ik de prijs iets te hoog voor het hotel. Kamer was wel netjes onderhouden en klantvriendelijkheid is ook goed." (108701126)

    Locatie

    De inrichting van de kamers kan iets beter, vooral de kabels van het televisietoestel ergerden mij.

    Close to required venue and major international Railway Hub. Loads of amenities in the area.

    Internet is very poor in most of the hotel could invest a little in a few more wireless routers

    "I got put in a basement room with very little natural light. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the road outside and guests in other rooms talking. The place needs cleaning. The plus point is that it's cheap." (108384272)

    It was fairly cheep, but I've stayed in cheaper places that are better.

    General cleanliness of the place needs improvement, lots of cobwebs that need dusting away. Walls are paper thin.

    Fairly convenient to transport. Clean. Nice breakfast staff.

    Heavy traffic noise. No room to pick up the cat let yet alone swing it . Further from Kings x than anticipated.B/ fast rather meagre

    You get what you pay for and the Swinton met or exceeded my expectations. It's location is the real bonus for me.

    Just some simple, inexpensive fixes could elevate the stay so much more; like, fixing the shower rail and towel rack so that the latter doesn't hang from the wall and adjusting the shower faucet to ensure water doesn't spray all over the bathroom floor. See the warped bath fascia as evidence of this. Regards, Grant Doyle

    Staff was very nice! I arrived few hours earlier than the check-in time, then my bags were watched by the staff, so I was able to have a look around London. That was highly appreciated!!!

    Everything was old and looking dirty... I am sorry, but it was horrible, I would never stay in this hotel again. The water was dropping all the time in the bath room, couldn't sleep well at night. I couldn't wait to escape this hotel in the morning.

    "It was very bad and i didn't feel I got value for money I know London is an expensive city but £84.00 for a room like that is disgraceful. Next time I will find a travel lodge at least you know what you get from that company. I will be certain not to recommend this hotel to any friends or family." (107595136)

    Staff at reception were friendly and I appreciated them leting us check out an hour later.

    The room was very very basic considering the price and it did not reflect the photos on the webste. The externals were is very bad condition with the timber windows rotting. If I had viewed the hotel in person I would never have booked a room here. The TV did not work properly and the bathroom was an inadequate size to fit the toilet, sink, and shower!!

    "I enjoyd a lot. I did not wait very much for "continental breakfast" (I thought it is maybe one croissant with a cup of coffee) but it was lovely surprise, good breakfast with friendly service." (107651162)

    hotel was near to station, breakfast was really good, pretty flowers behind my window, clean bathroom. It was also nice to cook tea in my room.

    I had problems to keep my window open and the "readin-lamp" over my bed didn't work.

    Convenient location to underground, supermarket, food bars, pleasant looking street, Wi Fi

    En suite a little tired perhaps. Tendency to be a bit noisy when traffic lights change, but as it is a one way street there are lulls. But this is a city, what do you expect?!

    The reception was 24 hour and tried to be helpful.

    The windowcatch was broken so I could neither shut nor open the window of this basement room. It was airless, noisy and the carpet was stained. the bed awas very hard and not at all comfortable.

    Convenient.

    Walls in the room were filthy and marked. Beds were tiny, bathroom needed redecorating. The bottle of water in the room was refilled. Generally dirty and old hotel. Breakfast staff were unhelpful and breakfast was poor.

    Checked in late on arrival day as expected but had a staff on hand for smooth check-in, staff was considerate enough to immediately offer another room when I complained about the non-conducive state of the room I was offered. I was really impressed with the Breakfast room and amount of people up for breakfast, breakfast room looked really nice compared to the room I finally stayed in.

    The Lift, corridor and room had a damp smell which was really bad. The toilet in my room though it was flushed, received a real scrubbing from me before I could use it. The Electric kettle in the room was not clean (whitish scale or what ever was on the inside of the kettle), so i had to have a cold coffee on the 1st day but this was awful, so did not bother about it any more.

    All staff is very kind and helpful. Location. Continental breakfast offers fresh bread, croissants, cheese and cooked ham. Also various cereals

    Rooms need refurbishment, especially bathrooms Cleanliness leaves room for improvement (including kitchen near the breakfast room)
