    "Wost " hotel " I've ever been to. -10 out of 10." (107892159)

    Dirty room, dirty bathroom, TV didn't work, shower didn't work, window held open by a pice of wood, room the size of a postage stamp, rude inatentive staff, reception staff openly arguing with each other in front of guests, inadequate and unseceure luggage storage area. To sum up: " A joke of a hotel that should be avoided at all costs, and probably shut down under Health & Hygiene Laws ". Checked out after one night to book into a decent hotel Tarvelodge and will never be back. Advise all of your readers to avoid this hotel like the plague.

    Demasiado caro para tener una habitación muy pequeña, donde no se pueden cerrar las ventanas, no funcionaba la calefacción, y la cisterna del wc no funcionaba.

    Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent central location. Friendly staff. Felt safe and welcome as a single woman.

    Room was a bit 'shabby', e.g. carpet very old and worn, but not a major drawback in comparison with all the plus points of this good value hotel.

    Better then I expected. Lovely clean comfortable bed. Room at the front and yet quiet. So close to Kings Cross. Reception chaps cheerful and friendly

    No soap. Halls and stairways clean but carpets had seen better days. Breakfast adequate but had to ask a surly dining room attendent for coffee or would not have got any. Busy and a bit of a free for all but cant complain

    The hotel is well situated. the staff are polite & helpful, and you get a full English breakfast, and as it is self service you get as much or as little as you want. You can also leave your luggage until you're ready to go.

    There is a self storage depot opposite the front of the hotel which seems to operate 24/7 so a room at the rear would be best.

    As the hotel is well located adjacent to King's Cross underground station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow this makes it an ideal location to stay and for exploring the city

    Had problems with the shower unit,thus was unable to have a hot shower and instead had to run the bath therefore using a lot more water

    "Very disappointing. Considering we were under the impression that a room costing £90 a night and advertsed as "furnished to a high standard" turned out to be an absolutely disgusting unhygenic and very poorly furnished hovel-lacking in basic hygiene and bathroom toiletries. " (108874606)

    All staff were courteous friendly and efficient[given what they had to work with]. Booking in and out was efficient. Use of locked room for luggage storage was good too. The bed sheets were clean. The towels were white and clean.

    Very poor room standard. Dirty carpet , black solid lump on carpet between beds, iron scorch mark STICKY FEEL TO CARPET WHEN WALKING. One of the single bed bases was broken and mattress stained. The upholstery on the settee was dirty and stained. There was a long black hair in the washbasin [myself and the other lady with me are both blonde] there were no toiletries except the shower soap canister so we had to step into the bath squeeze the soap dispenser and go back to the sink each time we washed our hands after using the toilet, between and behind the taps were dirty. There was no complimentary hairdryer in the room though at reception one could be had. Food was cold.
