    Excellent location for St Pancras. Great hotel for an overnight stay on business.

    Room was sufficient for an overnight stay but probably too small if you intend staying longer (although it was a single room anyway).

    the english breakfast was quite good

    have to carry heavy luggage all the way up to the 3rd floor,room including bathroom was extremely small, the shower was running very slow due to inadequate water pressure,overall hygiene was no good.

    Clean furnishings. Clean linen. Clean (and fluffy!) towels. Shower functioned perfectly. All those SHOULD be the norm at any hotel but are not. Multi-channel TV.

    Minor, rather than bad, points: rumblings from trains (but see 'General review), and another sausage would be nice (!)

    I think this hotel is nice, rooms are OK, and I really enjoyed breakfast, it was really very good.

    We didnt have a shower and toilet inside the room, just on the corridor near us. I really didnt like this...

    The hotel was clean and breakfast excellent. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was very convenient to tube and train and local restaurants. 24 hour reception was welcomed as my train arrived at midnight.

    Toilet and shower were separate. Toilet did not contain a sink to wash hands afterwards. Room did not have a card showing locations of shower and toilet. I had to find them on my own.

    Good Hotel, clean, no fuss with reception. Given my keys and key to front door. Was allowed to sit in the foyer to await friends without receptionist bothering me.

    Got lost on the way from my room to the front door, and ended up in the basement where the breakfast room was located, couldn't find my way out of the hotel for a couple of minutes. No signs around to direct you.

    The stairs leading down from the first floor are very badly lit just where they curve to the left. My partner was ahead of me when she missed the step and had it not been for the man ahead catching/stopping her she would have gone through the door at the bottom and injured herself; she is 71 yrs! Most of the other staircases are well marked/highlited. We did not report the matter, perhaps we should have.

    "An excellent well run hotel with caring and pleasant staff all round." (108461645)

    Everything that was in the Internet Advert was true and offered. Cooked Breakfast was adequate and freshly cooked.

    By choice I was in a standard room with no en-suite facilities. Suction Cleaner Hazard outside the toilets on the landing. One toilet seat wouldn't stay up so I used the other. No problem for females!

    Excellent central London location and very close to all forms of transit; very courteous staff; breakfasts were in a friendly room downstairs and were good; common bathroom and shower kept clean.

    Room was so small it was hard to walk around the bed; hotel has potential to be noisy if you have noisy people next door.

    Woman running reception very impolite and patronising,tried to recharge our credid card saying the first amount taken was"a test on our card".showers were narrow and slippy,if you fall trust me you will be injured with no room to get up.hallways are extremely narrow and claustrophobic,id hate to see the result of escaping a fire.

    Very friendly, accommodating staff. Very clean. Pleasant furnishings. Good central location. Good breakfast. Reasonably quiet.

    Room very small; for the most part, space is used efficiently, but bathroom sink tiny and, with shelf not far above the micro basin, almost impossible to use. No shampoo; small soap.

    Excellent location, we were in hotel room less than ten minutes after getting off train at Kings Cross. Quite literally opposite the station. Perfect location for staying in London. Rooms were very clean as were the bathrooms.

    No lift! We stayed on the 3rd floor and were faced with a very steep staircase. No use if you had small children or anyone elderly with you. Had to queue for breakfast as the room could not occupy all the guests, fine if its just adults but wouldn't fancy waiting with children getting impatient!

    Great location to St Pancras / Kings Cross, well run hotel, with modern rooms.

    Small room and while I knew about the shared toilet/shower, it would have been nicer to have had a en-suite. The stairs, so ask for a lower floor room if you do not like walking up steep staircases. No mention of this on the website.

    breakfast was not enough norishing there were some paintworks on the door next to my room, so I spoiled my bag by mistake as the coridor is really tiny and there was not enough room to open the exit door and not to touch the fresh paint right behind my back.

    Hotel run by the family and therefore good attention to guest requirements. Hotel very convenient for buses and underground but the immediate area is very quiet. Beds very comfortable. Would certainly consider returning on next visit to London. Walking distance from Euston or Kings Cross/St.Pancras stations

    Slight disadvantage in that part of the accommodation is across the street. En-suite rooms were compact but well furnished and equipped.

    None really. Room was compact (no phone - although not required by us). The Internet site did NOT advise that the room may be in another building on other side of the road - we were in main buildingh - and I would have been most displeased if we had been booked into such "annex" room.

    Easy to get to. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Quiet environment. Large and comfortable breakfast room. HiWi was free and reliable.

    Room was on the top floor and the stairways narrow. Shower spray was low and hot water would turn off unexpectedly.

    "Nice hotel, good breakfast, lousy booking system" (107632871)

    Room was clean and well equiped in a suprisingly quiet location, considering its only 100m from St.Pancras

    Used Amex card for online booking (website accepted it)- email a few days later saying that hotel didn't take Amex, and asking me to call hotel direct (at my cost) to re-confirm with another card. Phoned hotel and used a Mastercard - which was accepted. On arrival same Mastercard was refused - had to use a debit card. On contacting Mastercard, they said it was refused as no pin was input - no pin was prompted for, and they said this was because the card machine was being incorrectly operated (by the hotel).
