    "Good value for money. Close to the Tube " (108289570)

    New renovated room, good breakfast, silent street, frendly hotel staff and good communication to other areas in London and Stansted Airport

    Reception and general areas. Hotel staff wearing training clothes at breakfast. No invoice for our payment to hotel only a copy of the slip from creditcard. Small rooms(anyway you get what you pay for)

    "If it wasn´t for the central location this hotel would have been a total disaster. The "full english breakfast" was nothing but a joke. Extremely poor cleaning. One naked lightbulb in the cealing. No bedlamps. No decoration. A disgusting smell in the toilet. Nowhere to hang wet towels. A small double-bed almost impossible to sleep two adults in. I know you get what you pay for - but this was so below basic standard there must be better alternatives in the lowest price-region. " (108331488)

    Great location near Kings Cross. Hot water in the shower.

    This hotel is of a very low over-all standard. It doesn´t get better when some of the staff is very impolite, specially in the braekfast room.

    Nous voulions un hôtel économique avec une chambre familiale et petit déjeuner inclus, et nous avons eu satisfaction à l'hôtel Belgrove.l'hôtel est très bien situé à 2 pas de l'arrivée eurostar et du métro King's cross.

    Chambre petite, salle de bains minuscule et limite vétuste, manque d'amabilité du personnel de service pour le petit déjeuner.

    Very nice location; Central London was very close. Bayswater is a nice place which attracts tourists all the year around.

    Rooms were not spacious and breakfast had no variety. TV in the room offered only 3-4 channels and there was no News channel to be viewed in the rooms.

    Fantastic location, secure, friendly staff.

    " If your expecting a "Good afternoon Sir/Madame, Welcome to The ---Hotel" you can forget it!. This is a budget hotel so if you go in with high expectations and come away feeling disappointed then it's your own fault. Overall it's neither good or bad, it's simply a bargain basement, Tesco Value, No Frills good for a couple of nights stay, maybe a lads weekend away or students crash pad, you can make do with the facilities, But by no means should you be expecting the Dorchester!. 2.5/5" (108218033)

    If RyanAir did hotels... If your travelling or just want 1-3 nights stay in London and can't afford a proper hotel and/or don't want to stay in a hostel then this place should do okay. Location is great for connections with Kings Cross/St. Pancras station and the London underground system. But, having said that any underground station is a good connection. There's a couple of nice bars near by i.e The Big Chill House and a couple of good clubs, the hotel is basic but I found it okay and decent enough for a couple of nights stay. If you have children I would be inclined to advise that you keep looking and maybe stretch that extra £20-50!. However if you're a young couple wanting a cheap private room or a post graduate looking for work like myself then you should be okay.

    The shower was about as powerful as a weeing elf and possibly had bipolar (It seemed to start freezing and then became incredibly hot quite quickly and then cold again) !!NOTE!! If your not familiar with London the water pressure can vary (I'm guessing this due to demand) and I don't believe its particularly uncommon to find some places with low pressure showers or taps?.

    The sink and showering space of the bath room in the triple en-suite are too small. Only corn cereal was provided and there was no alternative in the provision of a full English breakfast.

    "A good reasonably clean budget price hotel, although rather small rooms. Toilet and shower also very small, but shower performed well. Staff were hard working, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, buffet style so you could eat all you wanted, what more could you want?" (108611077)

    Buffet style breakfast was a good idea, as you can help yourself to what you want. Bedding and towels were all clean. Staff helpful and friendly

    Could have been a choice of fruit with breakfast, to vary the menu a bit, also a vegetarian option would have been nice. Room, shower and toilet were all very small and cramped. Blankets were very old and worn, and could do with replacing. Couldn't get the tv to work, but don't know why.

    Really clean bath room and a clean bed (good pillows, clean linen).

    We found hairs in the wardrobe and the drawers. The size of the bed (circa 140 x 200 cm) was to small for two adults. The room itself was extremely small too.

    Close to Kings cross, just few steps from station

    Paid 50£ a night. In fact it worth only max 30£.It was mentioned en suite and when I enter in to the room I was looking for the shower room and when I opened a door which looked like a cupboard, i found the tiniest shower room and toilet ever made in the world...i am sure that they have made shower room in the cupboard

    Can't think of any. At least its cheap, but if I can, I will avoid staying here again.

    Felt a bit grubby, and looks like the bare minimum has been done to at least make the rooms habitable. Cramped.

    The location of the hotel could not be bettered for getting to st pancras for the eurostar. The squalor of this hotel made us feel great about the hotel we stayed in France, so thanks for that.

    We had a broken pane of glass in the room, when we mentioned this to the receptionist it did not seem to strike him as an important issue. The shower smelled like old socks. The room was tiny and we had to move the wardrobe in order to plug in a hairdryer

    Proximity to Kings Cross station. As the heat (ambient temperature in London was abnormally high)was unbearable, they provided a small 9" diamer table fan which helped me to survive

    Everything else you expect from a meium class hotel could not be found. I could not curtail my stay as the reception staff had no authority to decide and the manager is available only between 6 & 7 pm, I could not meet him. My colleague did not accept to stay in the room (hardly any ventilation) and finally, I could not complete my 3 day's stay and checked out after paying 50% penalty for the third day and checked out prematurely.

    Cheap, and had a vacancy.

    Cramped room, with inadequate and badly maintained bathroom and a shower that had nowhere to hang a towel and no bath mat to step onto when you get out.

    "I just like to highlight to Belgrove Hotel on the day 19th, the duty personnel that cleaned my room, had remove a Selfridges paper bag, which may contain 2 Gucci lady wallets which I've just purchased the previous day together with some travel brochures. I'm very sure that he or she had removed the bag but it did not strike my mind that the 2 lady wallets were inside. Please check with the Hotel staff if they have seen my lost items.     The hotel was in a good location for my visit. The food was good.

    Shower would not drain and the water was cool not hot. The room did not have enough space for my luggage. No outets were available for my cell phone charger.

    The receptionists were not very nice. I was asked to pay straight away on my arrival (not when check out) as if I was going to run away next day without paying for the room. There was no hot water in the shower.

    very small room and ensuite not clean furniture needs replacing and there was a hole in the ensuite door.
