    Room was well equipped and accessible.

    Room could have done with a coat of paint to freshen it up and some noise from nearby airport flight path.

    clean, good facilities, including free car-parking, central location all representing good value for money.

    staff pleasant & efficient but when a member of staff is dealing with a client they should never, in any circumstances, allow a ringing telephone to interrupt the transaction. This happened to us & it is poor customer service for which there is no excuse.

    "apart from breakfast confusion it was a nice hotel to stay at freindly and helpful staff" (97980761)

    it was very good price for what we needed accommadation was good value

    the breakfast. i was happy with so was my daughter but my 2 work colleges were unhappy as had toast drink and cornflakes and were charged £6.95 as if were having full english breakfast, if they had been informed at time of being asked what they wanted, they would most probably had the full english so for toast and juice being that price they felt it unfair as when told lady what they wanted they were not advised on price being same across the board.

    The hotel does have evening meals available unlike many other limited facility hotels

    The rooms are smaller than other limited facility hotels and it is a motel style hotel with poor access to the first floor. It is also on the flight path of Liverpool John Lennon Airport which can be noisy early in the morning

    "The check-in is in the restaurant, it was 9.00pm and there were 3 staff behind the counter, although only one appeared to be working. The other two probably covered the restaurant but there weren't any customers at the time. I have stayed in Campanile hotels in France and knew what to expect and was not surprised. I would recommend the hotel for a stop-over, but no more than that." (97365334)

    The hotel was well located and the bed was comfortable. It was fine for a stop-over on the way to Liverpool Airport, but I used the room for less than 8 hours in total.

    The room condition was adequate but the bathroom was a little sad and needed freshening up.

    "I think the accommodation is good value for money but should be around £42.00 per night,the staff in the bistro including the reception are so good at the duties they carry out,i will always try to book at the campanile as it is more central." (97986941)

    I like the fact that when you open the door to your room it is so fresh,nice feeling.all the staff are really nice,and the cheff well he is so good and cooks real nice food.it was also good that i could smoke in my room.

    What i didnt like was having to pay £40.00 for wifi internet hot spot,and thats the second time,i know they have free wifi internet at campanile in france so why cant you set it up in uk,maybe you should look in to it.

    Easy to book and basic value for money. Know what you are getting.

    Service at breakfast was poor. I asked if more croissant could be prepared and didn't really get an answer, don't know if I was understood. Then carried on doing toast for croissant to then be prepared. Staff who interact with the public should be able to understand the customers and communicate with them.Think the breakfast should be variable cost depending on what you eat. A round of toast and fruit juice could cost the same as a full English!

    "It would have been good to know that there were so many stairs as a disable person would have had difficulty in gaining access to some of the rooms. The hotel was very friendly and the rooms were great, I also recommended other people stay as we were at an event in Walsall University and the hotel was excellent for access to that, the people I recommended to also enjoyed the experience" (97047963)

    "I think the location is great for driving and also for the location to the railway. With regards to the motorway and railway being close to the hotel noise was not an issue." (97364025)

    Convienient and the Bed was very comfortable.

    I checked in late and was informed to get the key through thr bedroom window. Key did not work did not know who to contact regarding the key issue.

    Easy internet booking process, quick check-in, convenient location

    For the cost of the room (£60) and this standard of facilities I would expect at least continental breakfast to be included. The head of the mixer tap in the bathroom basin was not fixed, so the lever had to be moved by hand. Thus the water temperature could not be changed.

    Excellent location, nice friendly staff, reasonably priced, pub next door.

    Only thing no plug points - couldn't straighten hair....

    "The overall stay you could not fault. The restaurant is supposed to be a Bistro style but you could not get snacks only sandwiches offered and this depends on whether they have had deliveries. Food quality is not as good as it could/should be." (97269065)

    It was clean, out of the way but accessible for travel ie railway station and also town centre. Also the fact that you do not have to go anywhere to watch the aeroplanes

    The bedroom was not very private in so far as people walked past the window all the time and a bit noisy on Friday night

    Clean and simple. I liked the motel layout.

    Restaurant kitchen was shut one night so they could only do sandwiches.

    "We are familiar with the hotel Camponile, every time we stay there it seems to have deteriorated even more. We book because of its location. This last stay and the room provided was the worst to date. The bathroom floor looked and felt dirty. The sheets and pillow cases looked worse for wear. We are people who do not complain and just get on with life, as you are asking questions I feel obligated to answer them honestly. The overall feeling was that of uncleanliness. As it was only one night this time we perservered. Any longer I think we would have sought alternative accomodation." (97293780)

    Camponile Runcorn requires upgrading. The building is in need of attention. Access to upper floors is very poor.

    Good value providing all the essentials for an overnight stay with a restaurant and breakfast on site.

    It was generally rather tired in appearance and could do with a little money spent on general decoration.

    Good location. Large car park with CCTV. Good value bar and restaurant. Friendly staff.

    The room was quite small, the tap was broken in the bathroom and the electricity kept cutting out in the morning.

    "I was staying over for one night in Runcorn before an early morning flight from Liverpool Airport. I had a commitment in Yorkshire until 8.00 pm and therefore arrived at just after 10.00. That was fine: the room was adequate and there was a helpful receptionist/barmaid who poured a good pint of Boddington's Bitter. However, everything shut down between 11.00 pm and 8.00 am (even the television turned itself off during Match of the Day), so no breakfast for me - not a great problem, but what if I'd been delayed on the journey to Runcorn?"     All facilities in room worked well, especially shower.

    room very 'cell-like'. When sat on bed (only position to see TV), confronted by plain painted walls and pulled curtain (dark outside) giving a very claustrophobic effect. Only picture was on wall behind bedhead! Felt insecure on leaving room, as rooms in separate block with no restriction on public access. litter of empty beer bottles by stairs re-inforced this insecure impression. Would not feel comfortable about teenage children staying here with family if in separate room.
