    Excellent staff - very cheerful and made the stay very welcoming for us.

    Rooms are a bit dated in terms of decor.

    "A very nice hotel and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and Bistro evening meal very nice and good quality. Quiet bedroom so a good nights sleep. Easy parking and well placed just 15 minutes from Taunton and 10 from Bridgewater. Would stay here again if in the area. " (108133583)

    alot of steps to room, although i requested an upstairs room, there was only a young girl to take my luggage to my room, so i carried it myself.

    "Good, welcoming and friendly staff. Plenty of car parking. A strange mix of different decor styles through the hotel. No real theme to the decor. The hotel is described as contempory, but apart for a few small objects, it is not contemporay at all. Bedroom is pleasant enough, quiet. Traditional style. Air conditioned, a good idea when hot. Tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, good service, cooked items were served hot. Orange juice quality was fair, could be upgraded." (3305202003)

    Cold water pressure is very low in our bedroom, took ages for the bath to fill (hot water has excellent pressure.

    "A very clean and well run Hotel, The staff were efficient and most helpful: All parts of the Hotel were of a very high standard decoratively and there was plenty of seating area's both in little courtyards and lounges: The Dining Room was tastefully decorated and the food was of the highest order although the Dinner menu, in our opinion did not offer too many choices of 'ordinary food' and none that would suit children, but I presume if requested a suitable Children's menu would be provided as the staff and management were so willing to please A very" (3304742432)

    "overall rating excellent. the food let the hotel down. You should try to accomodate for the plain diner - simple choice was lacking. The bathroom showed signs of wear around the bath sides, but otherwise excellent room. The car park was not easy to see from the main road, better signage would be an advantage." (1850292)

    "I found the staff helpful, kind and courteous. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. I was delighted to be accomodated in a smoking room as requested (often ignored), and the meal were excellent. I feel if anything ny expectations were exceeded. Thankyou." (1790441)
