    Nice atmosphere with excellent menu.

    A bit out of the way. A cupboard door in the bathroom had swelled from damp and didn't close. Funny noises very early in the morning - sounded like plumbing.

    "This is certainly not a flash modern hotel, but what it lacks in style it makes up for with the homely caring staff and lovely food.  The rooms are small and cosy but are clean (decorations are slightly 70's but seems to add to the charm).  There were people there who obviously stayed regularly which is always a good sign."     This hotel is so homely and the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful.  The food was excellent.  They have regular guests which i feel is always a good sign.  You are made to feel welcome and important

    The room was large, airy, and comfortable the food was excellent and the owners and staff very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was in a beautiful setting and very quiet considering how close it was to the main road. Nice and central for exporing Anglesey.

    One of the bedside lights in the room did not work and there was a carrier bag of someone else's rubbish left in a drawer. When we came to check out we waited 1/2 an hour at the reception desk before having to ring the main phone number and getting someone to appear!

    Excellent staff. Hotel very clean and well decorated. Excellent bar. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of parking. Beautiful location.

    "The setting was great, easy access to the main roads and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Quiet peaceful surroundings and outstanding views of the mountains." (107131203)

    The ditiary requests we made for our dinner were provided and this was greatly appreciated. A special early breakfast tray was placed in our room before retiring. This made our food fueling for the Anglesey Half Marathon much easier.

    The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

    Genuine friendly charm, convenient location near to main road (A55) but very quiet!

    More quaint than bad ie. door locks (bedroom + bathroom doors?!..) fire exit / escape from bedroom?!..

    "The owners have obviously thought and planned the rooms and quality of fitments with good consideration for a guest's requirements, be it business or pleasure. It felt like home from home without having to do all the work! Very warm welcome and a smile from the staff. Would highly recommend it.     "The hotel offers a good position close to the main A55 but not too close. Access to the whole of Angelsey is excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bed was a little tired and slightly small for a double. Our hosts were very friendly and made the stay feel all the better, the bar is stocked to suit most tastes with some nice bear and excellent welsh wisky. The meals are of a high standard, the vegetables cooked close to perfection. The deserts are also of a high standard, although a limited selection. Not sure how frequently the menu is changed so a longer stay may mean the meals repeat. In the near area we did not find any good restaurants, apart from pubs, chip shops etc. All in all a thoroughly nice country hotel offering good value and good hospitality." (97233974)

    It was homely and unostentatious. The room was small but adequate and really comfortable. We visit North wales frequently and would have no hesitation in booking in here again. The food dinner and breakfast) was excellent as was the service. We needed to stay on until 12 noon and were readily served with some sandwiches before our engagement.

    Hospitality excellent - greeting, food, bar, room all good. Location of hotel for getting around the island good being just off the A55 but very quiet although close to the road.

    The shower in Room 9 could do with a bit more pressure - but really no dislikes

    the hotel staff were frendly and very pleasent. every thing was nice and clean the rooms we had were tastefully decorated and the on suit was spacious. the breakfast was good plenty choise,as much as you want. I would recomend it to any one.

    Very clean acommodation, breakfast was lovely, beautiful quite location, shops, restaurants easily accessible

    I am a single Dad, when I booked online it did not give me the option for 1 adult and 1 child so I only booked myself in a twin room. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that a child is the same as an adult - I didn't have this option when booking nor was it explained. Try this for yourself.

    "Great place to stop off on way to Ferry at Holyhead. It is near the main road but still peaceful and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is wholesome. The room was small but otherwise fine for a short stay." (99749357)

    Convenient, friendly and good service. Comfortable lounge bar where One can listen (if not understand) the locals speaking in Welsh. jacket left behind was sent on by post immediately.

    Very nice location in the countryside. Bar and restaurant set up is very homely and staff service and advice was very good. The food and drink selection and standards were very good.

    Very clean, very comfortable and in a style in keeping with the age and location of the property.

    TV on in the lounge as we find this can be very distracting from relaxing conversation and Radio 2 in the Dining Rooms.
