    "Would not book the Normandy again." (107589103)

    Over booked so were transferred to another hotel. In process the twin room booked became a double room at the other hotel. As it was myself and my son we were swapped with other guests in a twin who had not yet arrived.

    "ok for what i wanted it for , but not to stay for along time, if the hotel could get the decor and cleaning up to a good standard, this would be a much better place to stay." (107740638)

    staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good..

    hotel needed a good clean, cobwebs and flies everywhere and the room and hallways needed a good lick of paint and repair.

    friendly and helpful staff, reasonable food.

    all planes taking off fly over the hotel and the hotel bedroom doors shut with a bang, they need to be dampened to avoid this happening.Breakfast buffet was luke warm and not hot.

    Overall fair value for money, more special offers should be made available to patrons, for an allin package deal, mid-week dinner B&B and such.

    Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Meals of high standard.

    Rooms cramped and somewhat jaded. Long term car park a quagmire and haphazard parking.

    excellant value for money, good access from motorway,bar service good and the 80 shilling was excellant, food ,good service and quality

    Hotel is looking a bit tired and needs some redecoration, damaged sills and doors, damaged wallpaper etc. Bathroom fittings old style, bed lumpy, old tv. heating great considering it was -1 degree's that night

    Peaceful in spite of proximity to airport. Efficient breakfast staff. Brisk and helpful reception staff. All staff managed to be on hand when needed without being in any way pushy or in the way. Ideal attitude all round. Comfortable bed.

    Room in some need of redecoration / refurbishment, but perfectly adequate.

    good service, friendlt staff, excellent facilities

    as i xame out the elivator there were tiles removed from the celing. this was an eye soar not to mention a danger as there were cables visable.

    Fantastic hotel and facilities, higher standard than expected. Car park and shuttle bus, were a god send. Hotel was able to check us in at 09:15 which was really appreciated.

    Checking in became protrated. Had to poduce booking reference and PIN numbers several times, even though I had rung and checked the booking 2 days prior.This took around 20 minutes to book in 5 people. Restaurant too expensive on a budget.

    Food overall was good, if a bit overpriced. Room was a disgrace with a large hole in the wall above the light switch (which is the first thing you see as you enter the room) A four drawer chest had two drawers missing and the decor overall might have been okay in 1975 but not today!

    The Heating did not work very well in either room and my father is in his 80's so he needed the room a little warmer.

    "I am aware of refurbishment at this hotel with some rooms, however, can't believe the standard of the room I was allocated - a carpet cleaner should be purchased to keep rooms up to a basic standard of cleanliness until all rooms are refurbished!" (107131072)

    Was originally allocated a room which when I went to had not been cleaned from the previous persons stay - bed unmade, dirty dishes. I then was allocated another room, however, the carpet was filthy which in turn had to keep my shoes on! The windows when opened were covered in spiders webs.! Furniture was chipped and stained.

    "The town of Renfrew is not very big but has lots of eateries and is nice to walk through. It is so close to the airport that I recommend it for most travellers especially if you have early flights." (97029966)

    It was very close to the airport and the car rental drop off. Very easy to get to from M8

    Not much in food nearby the closest food is in city center Renfrew about 2 miles away but they have a very good restauranton the ground floor, a little pricey but good.

    "When i booked the hotel, i was expecting a general run of the mill hotel, as it was so reasonably priced, i must say i was very surprised at the whole package. entered the hotel which has ample parking facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean & spacious rooms. I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. Only downside was Internet connection and cable tv. but overall very good and will definately stay again. Thanks" (97272519)

    Proximity to airport and cost

    It was clean, warm ,friendly and the breakfast was superb with the staff efficient and friendly

    Although their was plenty of car parking available some areas were rather poorly lit.

    Friendly and helpful staff.

    Hit or miss bedroom door opening system. Fire alarm going off at 4AM. Lack of management. Not my first visit to this hotel which appears to be going downhill fast.
