    The check out staff didn't ask me to pay in which currency, and i dunno why he choose EURO for me without letting me know. And i just notice about it after i back to London. And there was GBP 7 different. Why would this happen???

    bedding far too hot and without an alternative. Toilet seat damaged. Towel rail not heating up reasonably quickly. Food in restaurant over priced and so was the wine.

    "I would highly recommend the Stratford Victoria Hotel. The five days my daughter and I spent there, enhanced our experience of this historic town. The hotel's close proximity to the town and the excellent secure parking facility onsite was an added advantage. Congratulations to the chef and catering staff for their excellent breakfast and room service. Overall, from Reception to our departure the staff were weloming and friendly.     Room & hotel spotless, staff welcoming and efficient, breakfast superb. Good location, and very pleasant garden.

    Please tell guests not to put their room key near their mobile phone! Mine was in my handbag in the same pocket as my phone during the evening, and when we came back at night could not get into the room!

    very clean hotel idealy located for just parking the car and walking into stratford, have been before and will come again.

    lots of new staff in dining room, made the process a little slow and difficult to understand each other, head waiter running round like a maniac trying to keep things flowing, and managing to keep cool !!!!

    Good staff , One lady who as been at the Stratford for about 12 years what an ambassador for the hotel well done to her nothing was any trouble to her we were made to feel very special.

    Spacious comfortable room. Restaurant food above average, but some staff over fussy.

    Poor communication between booking a table for the restaurant from the front desk and not being on the dining list some 5 hours later, even though the front desk and restaurant are only metres apart!! We believe the middle / lower order of staff performed well with real enthusiasm.

    Hotel is modern and comfortable and location was good

    There were a lot of cobwebs in the bedroom over the lamps especially. Also the price of the drinks from the bar were extortionate.

    Stratford Victoria, Stratford upon Avon. Very good food, modern facilities as hotel had been recently refurbished, Reception manager very helpful and he responded quickly to concerns

    Check in was very poor. One of our pre-booked rooms had been given away to another guest and our 2 boys(one a teenager!) had to share a double bed as the twin room had been allocated. The Reception manager was able to resolve this for the second night. Quality control by senior staff - poor. E.g. no-one was checking that the bar area was being adequately staffed on the Sunday night. Bar was unsupervised for over 10 minutes.

    Very polite and professional staff. The room was very clean and modern and the position of the hotel was ideal for easy access to Stratford

    The first night the air conditioning unit was very noisy but seemed to have been fixed whilst we were out the next day which is why I never mentioned it to the staff as it interrupted our sleep.

    "I took my husband for a one night stay to this beautiful hotel for a birthday treat as he had always wanted to visit Stratford. We chose this hotel becuase of the advert we'd seen on the internet, the rooms are exactly as shown and the bathroom was perfect.I would recommend this hotel to all my friends, the breakfast was buffet style and we really enjoyed our stay.     "Overall the hotel was one of the best I have stayed in, we stayed in the hotel as part of a Valentines getaway, and the hotel exceeded my expectations and added a lot of extra class and comfort to or weekend away. The hotel is a perfect place to stay for people who intend on exploring the beautiful city of Stratford-upon-Avon, and compliments the city well.     "work being carried out, yet wasnt told before hand exactly what was on offer and what wasnt. evening meal in restaurant very good yet no room in bar afterwards and no lounge to have a drink in, all to do the the refurbishment, would have been nice to know this before hand and i think that would have changed our decision to stay there."     the room was fantastic, one of the recently reburbished ones i think. very impressed! the rest of the hotel was lovely, they have disgused the refurbishment works very well.

    the cooked breakfast wasn't very nice, i left half of it.

    It was in a good location.

    The service in the restaurant was bad in the evenings. The room was very hot with no air conditioning. There was a fan which made it bearable. We went to our room and found there was no electricity. We were very tired and it was late so we had to go down to reception where we were told we had to use our room key to get electricity. It would have been so much better if they had told us that when we checked in. We are Americans, so maybe this is common in England. We really enjoyed the city of Stafford.

    The food in the restaurant was really good and value for money. The breakfast was exceptional

    Our room was situated by the fire exit on the second floor and it was used constantly through the night by I presume the staff as a throughfare - the door squeeked really badly and kept my partner awake.

    We were given the Victoria suite which was a very nice surprise!

    Thought you let the suite down a little by having a grey plastic bathroom suite rather than a more expensive one

    The hotel was very clean and quite central.

    The hotel's interior was very dark especailly in the reception/bar area. Our bedroom was also very dark and we had to leave lights on most of the time.
