    Leisure facilities were good . Cooked breakfast excellent. Location excellent. Staff were all helpfull and polite the weather was also good.

    Workmen outside the window were a bit loud in the morning.

    We found the service and attention to detail first class.

    The extremely long walk from the lifts to our room and apart from one or two hiccups at breakfast i.e. waiting for fried eggs, coffee machine not working adequately, everything was fine.

    DID NOT EAT AT HOTEL IN EVENINGS BECAUSE OF NO REAL DECENT VEGETARIAN CHOICE AND NOBODY WAS ABLE OR PREPARED TO PROVIDE ONE.AS A RESULT WE SPENT OVER £100 ELSEWHERE ON MEALS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT IN THE HOTEL

    Food excellent. Accomodation clean, modern. Reception staff, porter, duty management - couldn't be more helpful.

    Bed very uncomfortable. Bar staff need a bomb under them - no sense of urgency, so gave up and went to room. Ordered drinks in room - took one hour to bring two cokes!

    Breakfast was excellent. Standard of room was good. Parking facilities were very good.

    Bed not as comfortable as other hotel chains. Stella lager purchased in bar was flat. Didn't like the tea/coffee in the room.

    The hotel room was lovely, clean and with plenty of room. lots of parking which was cheap too.

    just having to move the kettle to a plug point as where its located there isnt one available. This wasnt a major problem though.

    EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM STAFF

    INTERCOM BY THE CAR PARK WAS ENGAGED FOR 30MINS AND I COULD NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR PARK OR MY CAR AS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT EARLIER ON. NOT ENOUGH CHECK IN STAFF. NO BISCUITS WITH THE TEA SERVICE.

    In general the staff were mostly extremely polite and pleasant. The lounge areas looked very comfortable and spacious although our weather was so good we didn't use them!!

    This is not necessarily a bad point but we do dislike the buffet breakfast. We appreciate the vast numbers staying and that to cook to order would present certain difficulties but to actually get a breakfast with each item completely freshly served is impossible - some items obviously left too long and dried up. With guests milling around and especially unsupervised children it was rather chaotic at times.

    Very clean bathroom and nice bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The gym was rather small and the equipment was dated. The floor of the changing rooms could have been cleaner.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast. It was very central.

    I had booked a twin room but was given a double, although this was changed the room we moved into was very cold and we had to alert staff to this. The problem was rectified quickly, however. Wasunaware of the parking fee.

    Excellent location, exceptionally clean, comfortable hotel, fabulous breakfast, car parking

    Breakfast room got extremely busy towards the end of the stay as more people arrived at the hotel for Christmas breaks. There were not enough staff on in the breakfast room to cope with it.

    Good price deal. Close to Stratford centre. Small but good pool and gym.

    Long, long corridors----long, long walks to and from room. Breakfast --plenty available, but presentation not great and cooked items not done particularly well.

    Good Location, easy booking

    High cost of bar! Room airconditioning not serviced recently, did not work on arrival and exhaust air valve in bathrom clogged up until it was passing no air. Therefore moisture came back into room.

    The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. No complaints at all.

    The lighting in the room was poor and the so called reading light by the bed hopeless.-just a gimick. Complete self service for dinner on the first night was not what we thought a carvery meant. It was a Monday evening and perhaps that is why it was a bleak miserable occasion. We went elsewhere after this and it cost less than the meal there and we got service, comfort and pleasure.

    Swimming pool, cleanliness, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom, access to town and theatre

    Breakfast - total chaos as they'd run out of glasses, bowls, teaspoons etc. and there weren't enough staff enployed to cope with it all. Parking charge - it should be free for guests. Room heating - not very economic or effective as it took ages to warm up and there was still a cold draught coming through along with the heat! Disappearance of bath mat on second day!
